"Hmmm," Mondo considered this for a moment, tilting his head, "So taking photos captures memories."
"Any of them your favorite?" He looks to her camera, motioning to it, "Also, what’s the difference between that kinda camera and like….those cheap ones ya get from the store?"
"Mm-hmm! Or, at least, I see it that way.." She shrugged off her previous statement, going on to think about how she'd explain the differences between cameras to him.
"E-Eeh.. Well.." Mahiru started, before placing a finger to her lip. After a moment or so, she spoke up again. "It really depends on what kind of camera you mean by store-cameras. Like.. Disposable cameras are lower quality, but they're efficient if you're new to taking pictures. At electronics stores, they sometimes sell little digital cameras that are usually around eight megapixels, which is a picture quality-defining characteristic.. Hmm.. I'm not really sure, though. It's all up to tastes, I guess.."
With a small chuckle, she added. "I don't think I have a favorite brand or type. It's more of the memories that lie inside that are special to me."

"Ah, the yearbook! I never get pictures in there!" He announced cheerfully. “Unless they are required, I tend to be neglected in them, as many yearbook members do not like me!" He sat down next to her. “If you do not mind, I will sit next to you still, as I have just met you and can not test your verity! Allow me to introduce myself. I am a Super High School Level Hall Monitor, Kiyotaka Ishimaru!" He pulled out his notebook and jotted down ‘Super High School Level Photographer’. “Your name, if you don’t mind?"
He never got any pictures in? Well, he was supposed to be a first year(if she was correct in her assumption), but she wanted to change that fact. With a nod, she motioned next to him and gave him a smile. It was a bit odd at first, seeing as her personality almost did a complete one-eighty in the time he took to say he never got pictures taken of him.
"My name's Mahiru Koizumi. Nice to meet you, Ishimaru, I guess." Looking down at the camera she held, Mahiru hesitated before asking. "Would you want some pictures in the yearbook this year? There's always a time for firsts, you know." Maybe he had some friends she could get into a group shot with him. Hopefully..

"Are you sure?" Chihiro bit her lip, shifting slightly, “I have all day today free so…I don’t mind doing work!! I wanna learn!"
She balls her hands up and nods, determined, “That way I won’t have to be a burden on you again if I have to do this again!" She chirped, happily smiling up at the girl.
She laughed a bit at the awkward state of the other. "Fujisaki-chan, you don't have to be so nervous around me, I promise! So.. Let's get to work, okay?" Mahiru was unsure why Chihiro thought she would become a burden just because of a camera, but nevertheless wanted to help her.
"So, um.. Onto developing them."

Mondo gritted his teeth, but managed to keep his cool for once. After accidentally making Tsumiki cry, he started making attempts to not yell as much at the girls…
Still, this one didn’t seem quite right. He mused, following her, “So what exactly is bein a photographer about? Ya just go and…get photos of things or somethin?"
The question came as odd to her-- after all, it wasn't exactly something she spent most of her time pondering. Her mom was a photographer too; but she took pictures of different things.
"That's one way of putting it." With a tone more gentle than her usual talking-to-people-who-intimidate-her voice, she smiled up at the taller boy. "I.. Take pictures to take memories. After all.. Just remembering something as 'oh, this happened' isn't as fun, right? This way.. Everyone else can smile the way people do in pictures."

"Good, because you’re not allowed to get swept away by a stinky, stupid boy who isn’t worth the dirt on your shoes."
The blonde nuzzled Mahiru’s shoulder possessively, wishing that she hadn’t ruined her own bubbly, bouncy mood.
"You should let me know if any of the boys here give you trouble, though. I’ll make sure that they wake up covered in the garbage they’re made of."
Thinking about punishing people did much to lift her spirits and Hiyoko grinned cruelly. She could think of more than a few ways to get back at anyone who made her big sis upset…
"And not just boys; I can deal with anybody who’s mean to Big Sis Koizumi."
"Hiyoko-chan, that's really not necessary! I mean, I appreciate it, but I can take care of myself.."
Her attempts to scold Hiyoko usually ended in blatant failure, yet she thought it wouldn't hurt to try. The girl was like a cat in some ways-- scratch under her chin enough and maybe she'll listen to you? Well, maybe not like that, but.. She was a piece of work for sure. Lying was the only surefire way out of this.
"But, if you really have to.. I'll tell you, okay?"
Watching the other girl brighten considerably, she could do much but take a guess. She's getting excited about messing with people again, isn't she. That was the Hiyoko-chan she knew and was used to; anything different would probably be a bit uncomfortable.

Hiyoko giggled softly and at last relinquished her hold around Mahiru’s neck, tired of having to stretch up a little just to stay this way. Instead, she wrapped both of her arms around one of the redhead’s own and forced the fingers of one hand in between Mahiru’s.
"Big Sis Koizumi is so funny!"
"What am I going to do with you if you ever get a boyfriend? You won’t be able to hold hands with him without worrying about what people would think!"
Not that Hiyoko ever, ever wanted to lose her big sis to some…smelly boy. Having to share Mahiru’s attention like that… Just the thought was upsetting to Hiyoko and she clung a little tighter to the photographer’s arm.
Granted that she would definitely make the boy’s life miserable until he had no choice but to leave them alone.
Finally calming down from her flustered antics, Mahiru watched as Hiyoko laced their fingers together. Ah, her 'little sister' was so cute, despite being a pain at times. The redhead spent so much time with the dancer that she became unsure what she'd do without Hiyoko by her side constantly.
"He-hey, Hiyoko-chan.. You don't need to talk about boyfriends and stuff, you know..! I.. To be honest, I don't really want one."
It wasn't like the girl didn't desire companionship, but she felt that a relationship with a boy that she harbored no special feelings for would just get in the way of her everyday life. Her trust issues would probably come into play as well; she felt a lot more comfortable around Saionji than anyone.
"I'm sorry if that upset you. Um.."

Mondo frowned, “alright…but let’s get ya down to the yearbook room first?" He jerks his head in the direction he came from, “I can….think of something on the way."
He mutters something under his breath, something about how usually the only time he was asked to pose for a photo was for a mug shot.
"Ugh, so bossy.. Okay." Lowering her camera back down to its usual spot and beginning to walk near the yearbook room, she wondered why a tragedy had to happen now of all times. Right when her schedule becomes cramped, issues would begin to pop up like such.

"Okay! I'll walk you through the steps, then." After examining the type of camera it was, Mahiru pulled out all the items necessary for film development and began to set everything up. Teaching a beginner something new was always fun(that is, unless they weren't trying to learn). "-- So. Everything's ready."
