((Blog for the females of the 'Made in Wario' series. As an added bonus, I'll also throw in the girls of the Wario Land series, and yes even Wario's Woods. Ana - Kat's younger sister, Ana, is very quiet. Kat sometimes makes Ana cry, but Kat is always there when Ana is in danger. Ana loves all living things, especially flowers. Ashley - the girl next door living in the haunted mansion. She knows the darkest spells and she brews the meanest potions. Aqualea - a mermaid with a pink tail and blue hair. She is very bitter, vain, and overconfident in her own abilities; she also believes that she is irresistible and that her competitors lose just to be able to face her again. Captain Syrup - the ruthless and greedy pirate captain of the Brown Sugar Pirates of Kitchen Island. Dedar - a short green elf-like creature with red clothes and long pointy ears. 5-Volt - 9-Volt's mother, and is also a gamer. Harley Q - She is a creature that resembles a Harlequin, or a jester, who either wears a bodysuit or has purple skin. She also wears a dress-like contraption that spins around unceasingly. Kat - Descendent of the Iga ninja clan, Kat is the oldest of twin sisters. She goes to Diamond Kindergarten. Kat is bossy and a bit of a bully, but she loves her pet turtles. Mad - Also known as Maido, she is depicted to having blue hair (green hair in her original sprite) and a red tail in her official artwork, as well as a crown and a pearl necklace. Mama and Jamie Thang - Like all members of the Thang family they have large colorful afros, red noses, and sunglasses. Queen Merelda - The queen of the Shake Dimension with her loyal subjects, the Merfles. Mona - This peppy high-school girl keeps up with schoolwork, a part-time job at the restaurant, and her red scooter. For some reason, she's a little smitten with Wario. Penny Crygor - Dr. Crygor's granddaughter. She admires her grandfather and wants to grow up to be a great scientist, though she also desires to become a famous singer. Princess Shokora - She is the princess of a king who reigned over the country long ago, and the true ruler of the Golden Pyramid. Sal Out - a singer who reached high popularity in Diamond City. Sarissa - a short human girl wearing a magician's outfit. She is known to hate being called a "little girl". She seems to have a haughty aristocratic vibe about herself, believing strongly in "ladies first", and assuming that the player would let her win out of respect. But I do like anchovies, although they are kind of an acquired taste, much like my significant other."

"Best friend? Well... I guess, of course that's because he's my only friend. Oh wait... do the losers at Warioware count? Probably not if I call them 'losers.' Let's see, Red. I definitely don't see him as a little brother, more like an ever-faithful assistant like Spike is for Twilight Sparkle."

"Bad example, Spike considers himself to be Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor's little brother."

"A thousand years ago, I posted about the Bunny Girl from Virtual Boy Wario Land, and now that it's finally on NSO, it's relevant again! 'It' being the game... I would never refer to a sapient being as an 'it.' Now that I've got my overthinking outta the way, it's time for a new headcanon. This is Mona.

Demon Head captured her at the Aldegara Waterfall in the Awazon river basin, where she was doing a college essay or something, go ask her. Also, she was wearing the bunny costume on account of the Pianta Syndicate. IDK, that's just something they do. The boss must have a thing for rabbits, I guess? Anyhow, Wario saves her, and this, not WL4 is her first undocumented appearance before Warioware started.

I like how in WarioWare Get it Together, we get our first looks at Mona’s home life.  She lives in a mansion, which makes sense because her father is a famous artist and her mother is an actor.  These were details we were given in the WarioWare Mega Microgame$ Japanese website back in 2004 and NOWHERE ELSE EVER.  So it’s cool they keep a character bible.  We see her parents as teenagers, as new parents, and as they presumably are now.  Mona’s mother does bear a striking resemblence to her, and that dad of hers has a cool mustache, it looks like.

I wanna hear Ashley and Wario's similarities

!!! Hell yea!

So a fair amount of this is probably based more on my hcs for these two characters but basically the way I see it is: Ashley and Wario have, like, the same personality, but completely opposite energies

Here’s all the similarities between them:

They’re both rough-around-the-edges but are actually softies at their core

They both have a hard time expressing or even admitting their feelings/showing their loved ones how much they care

Likewise, they have a hard time accepting love from others outwardly (I feel like Ashley has a harder time with this than Wario, but I’ve mentioned before how I hc Wario to despise physical affection, and maybe he’s uncomfortable with receiving other kinds of affection too, in like a genuine heartfelt context. Ashley is the same way)

They both are self important and think they know better than everyone else (Ashley’s got a whole song about it)

They’re both stubborn

They both have a short fuse and bad temper (although Ashley is much scarier when she’s angry)

They’re both lazy/don’t clean up after themselves (I’ve read before that usually Red is the one cleaning up after Ashley, doing her chores and other things for her like laundry)

Going off that, they’re both bossy (the way Ashley bosses Red around and how Wario is, well, the boss)

Furthermore, I feel like Ashley’s manners certainly aren’t perfect either. I don’t mean in a disgusting way, but more so in a rude way. Again, Wario is the same way, coming off as very crass and rude to others outside his close circle, hell even to those in his close circle

They’re both cheaters (this one is definitely more of a hc. I’ve mentioned before how when Ashley plays 9-volt in video games, she’ll sometimes use her magic to cheat. This is not exclusive to playing video games, she’ll use magic to get her way in most situations, usually petty ones)

They’re both mischievous and pranksters (again more so a hc for Ashley but I feel like she DEFINITELY enjoys pranking others. Sort of got this idea with how she brought the mandrake root to the potluck in Gold knowing it would freak Red and the others out)

I feel like because of all these similarities, Wario and Ashley may react to some situations in similar ways. But the major difference between them that I believe cause them to clash is mainly their energies

Wario is far more energetic, extroverted, and chill than Ashley, who is rather low energy, very introverted/shy (Red practically has to drag her out of the house to do fun things) and serious.

Additionally, the way that they’re so similar—particularly in the aspect that they both think they’re better than everyone else and are always right—causes them to clash too.

They both have a tendency to get under each other’s skin and piss each other off, sometimes deliberately (hc that Ashley enjoys pissing Wario off, and just enjoys getting a rise/reaction out of people in general)

But I also feel like they understand each other on a deeper, more fundamentally emotional level, which is why Ashley finds that she keeps coming back to Warioware, despite always bemoaning the place and claiming to hate Wario. It’s like an unspoken bond thing, but neither of them will EVER admit that it exists.

What if the reason Waluigi has never shown up in a WarioWare game is because we’re secretly playing as him?

Been playing the Demo for Get It Together, and I gotta say, it’s pretty fun! Sucks that Ana - and by the looks of it, Spitz - can only be played by the second player, though. I hope that isn’t the case in the full game.

Intended for Keyzer, Huebird, and Karate Joe to make cameos in Panel 1, and the Reporter and Wrestler in Panel 3, but I couldn’t do so. At least Vanessa, Sal Out, and Pop Singer from Rhythm Heaven did!

Anyway, if you’re getting the game, enjoy playing WarioWare: Get It Together!

I’d kind of like it if in future Wario games Shokora came back, but like in her cat form as Wario’s equivalent of Mario’s Yoshi or Luigi’s Polterpup.

Like Shokora isn’t necessarily a love interest, she’s just chillin’ as Wario’s cat cus he seems pretty cool but he’s always getting into trouble and she just wants to look out for him, but seeing as she’s dead she doesn’t really have access to her regular form so she’s just a cat that shapeshifts into a freakin’ dragon every once in a while

And Wario’s an idiot so he’s like “hey this cat looks familiar but hey I don’t remember all of my advent- ah fuck that cat’s a dragon that’s pretty fuckin’ sweet.”

And just so everyone has a different kind of pet, give Waluigi Pidgit/Black Bat cus it was one of Wario’s lackeys in Wario’s Woods.

Just so you know 5-Volt's name in Japan is Faibuwatto or 5-Watt. So we already have a "triumvirate" of electricity-type-things, what we need now is an Ohm.

((But I’ve looked at her Mariowiki page dozens of times, to get images, or to make sure I haven’t missed any obscure lore about her eternally offscreen husband. Which, so far has been that he is a firefighter, which you can only learn if you obtain her A Rank character card in WarioKard or the capsule machine in WarioWare Gold. And now I can’t for the life of me find the post where I named him ‘Holt’ and made it part of their backstory that they were introduced because their names were similar. I found out later about the guy on Brooklyn Nine-Nine with the same name, and I’m wondering if someone reported it to tumblr (who subsequently deleted it without telling me) as problematic because they thought I was trying to straighten out some fictional character I had never heard of. Tumblr is like a hotbed of the least charitable interpretations, coupled with nobody having the common sense to confirm or seek clarification on anything.

Well, whatever. I needed to find that post to maybe change it, because this new information changes everything. Or do you think I should continue on with the English name like nothing ever happened?))
