favorite muse(s) you’ve written:  damn, that’s a tough one.  if i had to narrow it to three, i’d say Fred Jones, Mark Jefferson and Bonnie from TWDG. 

what inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on):  honestly, i’ve written for almost every main teacher in this franchise.  i liked her personality from the get-go, and when i saw what she was actually like underneath her work persona, i just... fell in love.  i had a feeling that the fandom would grossly misinterpret her, so i decided to take up the mantle and make sure they knew what she was supposed to be.  i relate to her in a lot of ways, so that helped, too.

what are your favorite aspects of your current muse:  i love how resilient she is, and how much she wants to help those around her, even if it comes at the price of her own well-being.  she’s snarky and self-deprecating, but also kind and empathetic, and i think it makes for a very well-rounded character overall.  

what’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing:  oh man, uh... probably the source material, or discussing character dynamics with other writers.  music also helps get me pumped up.  i don’t think i’ve ever written a reply without some sort of song playing.  

favorite types of threads:  i fucking love angst, but literally anything that explores / deepens connections and dynamics is so important to me.  i love seeing development in relationships, positive or otherwise.  

biggest struggle in regards to your current muse:  finding time, tbh.  i’m working full-time at one job and probably starting another, on top of going back to school.  i also have a shit ton of other blogs, so those take up a lot of time, too.  motivation is also very, very low right now.  i’m tired all the time.

          ❛ huh?  really? ❜    one hand rests comfortably on her hip, just above the frilly skirt she’s almost come to accept as a part of her wardrobe.  a part of herself.  she frowns and absently fiddles with the end of one of the meticulously-shaped pigtails, briefly debating whether or not to cater to his wishes  –  but the realization that she still has other houses to clean after this, even at such a late hour, casts that thought aside rather quickly.  at least the pigtails, childish as they may seem, provide an additional level of anonymity for a profession she’d rather die than admit she’s taken.    ❛ well… i’ll see what i can do next time, okay?  i really don’t feel like styling these again. ❜

this is the second or third time she pops in.  not a lot of ladies who stop by his niche gun store and iwai doesn’t forget a face.  especially not a face like hers.  plain but pretty.  tired.  pretty tired.  aren’t they all?  she looks worse than the last time he’s seen her.  with observant eye, it isn’t difficult to spot bruises peeking just past her sleeves and scarf.  she looks as if she’s tired of hiding them.  it isn’t iwai’s business to pry, but -

      truth be told, she’s had to work up a fair deal of courage  ( and cash )  to come back here and peruse the merchandise in the hopes of finding something that might fit beneath her uniform in a manner discreet enough that its presence won’t be known unless she makes it known.  she hopes, of course, that her nightly excursions won’t come to that  --  but it’s still best to be prepared.  unfortunately, she fails to take her own advice and nearly jumps out of her skin at the sound of the owner’s voice from behind.  pale hands instinctively fly to her chest, fingers curling loosely towards her palms, as she whirls around to face him.         ❛ what?  me?  yes, i’m  --  i’m fine! ❜  she stammers, forcing her hands to fall loosely back to her sides.    ❛ why?  do i not look alright? ❜    smooth.

       i’m being predictable here but idc.  fight me.  gonna shed some spotlight on Lawrence / @picarexque / my main motivation for this blog.  i first followed Lawrence on Mark’s blog, like… a year ago, and i haven’t regretted a single second of it.  he’s been developing Tadashi  ( which i still have to remind myself isn’t p5-kun’s canon name )  for… what, two years now?  fuck, i don’t even know.  but that’s a long-ass time to be writing for a character, especially for one who, until two months ago, we knew virtually nothing about.  

     he’s such a chill dude, tbh, and so kind and welcoming towards everyone he meets.  i was nervous about coming back to the Persona community, but he was just so encouraging the whole time, and i’m glad i decided to follow through with it bc i’m having a goddamn blast on this blog, even if my activity’s sporadic bc of work and other issues.

      almost jokingly, i recently asked if his affiliated oc group needed another member, and he was just??  so cool about it??  like i was totally prepared to get a gentle ‘no’ or smth but nah man he and the rest of the group were super excited at the concept and i’ve been having a great time with them on discord and Isaac’s blog.  overall, Lawrence is just… such a great friend, honestly, and the excitement and passion he brings to our ship keeps me going and makes me smile on days when it’s a real struggle otherwise.

     time to talk about @pvssywhipped / Amanda.  tbh i didn’t think much of Ann when the game was announced, or when the characters were showcased; i figured she’d either fit ATLUS’ cookie cutter right-hand gal shtick (i.e., Yukari, Chie) or be a Risette clone  –  and thankfully, i couldn’t have been more wrong.       i started following Amanda long before the game came out and just… loved her writing.  i loved how she interpreted Ann’s personality, loved her passion for the character, and loved what a friendly and funny person she was ooc.  she was one of the people that initially drew me back to the Persona community bc of how welcoming she was, as well as one of the people that continue to keep me here.       her headcanons / meta posts are incredibly on point and detailed and because of her personal connection to the material, i honestly couldn’t imagine Ann in better hands.  at some point, i’m gonna have Shitbag Kamoshida make a comeback so we can have a mutually cathartic experience with threads bc we thoroughly trust each other with these topics.  

     long story short  –  if you’re not following Amanda, wyd.  what’s wrong with you.
