Yusuke has them both tucked safely under his arm, torso angled away so as to protect them from Ryuji’s reach. “If you wish to partake in your own set, you may buy one through the same method that I did.”

     Though his initial defensive anger subsides, Yusuke’s brows barely lose their crease. “At the moment they’re selling at two-for-one, so I suggest you seize this chance.” More food for less is always a good idea as far as Yusuke is concerned. “Once you have vowed not to pilfer my lunch, I will permit you to sit with me.”

     time to talk about @pvssywhipped / Amanda.  tbh i didn’t think much of Ann when the game was announced, or when the characters were showcased; i figured she’d either fit ATLUS’ cookie cutter right-hand gal shtick (i.e., Yukari, Chie) or be a Risette clone  –  and thankfully, i couldn’t have been more wrong.       i started following Amanda long before the game came out and just… loved her writing.  i loved how she interpreted Ann’s personality, loved her passion for the character, and loved what a friendly and funny person she was ooc.  she was one of the people that initially drew me back to the Persona community bc of how welcoming she was, as well as one of the people that continue to keep me here.       her headcanons / meta posts are incredibly on point and detailed and because of her personal connection to the material, i honestly couldn’t imagine Ann in better hands.  at some point, i’m gonna have Shitbag Kamoshida make a comeback so we can have a mutually cathartic experience with threads bc we thoroughly trust each other with these topics.  

     long story short  –  if you’re not following Amanda, wyd.  what’s wrong with you.

        Yusuke spent most of the time in the van today hunched over, attempting to muffle the sounds emerging from his stomach (so undignified). It seemed to have some effect in muting the noise as he had no commentary on the matter. Or perhaps the sound of Mona’s engine (or whatever was going on there- he knew better then to question the logistics of that matter) merely concealed it. Skipping lunch was a mistake, but one made often enough that he was still capable of fighting until they finally decide to call it quits and head to the entrance. The others recap their accomplishments and earning for the day before they make their leave, but he has another purpose in mind.

      ❛Ryuji....❜  He calls out before they exit and hesitates, this is unfamiliar territory for him (he had never really spent time around people his own age after all). ❛Do you have other obligations this evening?❜ Tone still slightly hesitant, lacking his normal almost haughty calmness. ❛You spoke of beef bowls earlier and as I am quite ravenous from our endeavors today.❜ It had been an offhand comment to something he had said about his classmates tendency to avoid him. But his mind consumed by hunger had not let go of the idea. ❛I have some spare funds and if you have the time... I would be very grateful if you would accompany me as I have never been there myself.❜ If not there was always bean sprouts back in his dorm, and then he could put his saved money towards supplies... no matter how good a beef bowl sounded to his miserably empty stomach.
