A pencil (re)drawing of a random OC. I gave him proper clothes this time round, what was I thinking before?

Working on a black background was a lot harder than I thought, and without outlines... >_< But I pulled through!

Character sketch for Miss Witch. 

I have finalised the draft for the manga, and am now working on concept art/background! If things go well, I’ll be putting pencil to manuscript paper in December. So excited!

Decorating my sketchbook with handmade Miss Witch stickers! It was a pain drawing/cutting/sticking, should have went digital and printed on vinyl paper instead. Oh well, lesson learnt. I really do need to improve my cutting skills though.

A pastel piece I did a year ago (I think). 

Guess This kinda marks the end of the Inktober journey for me, I do feel bitter for not finishing the challenge, but I did get further than last year. So I’m somewhat happy about that.

Done with Berol verithin coloured pencils (12 set) a while back. Now I have obtained (yes, obtained, like some awesome quest rewards) the luminance and pablo sets, I'm tempted to redo it and see the difference. I remember the frustration of how scratchy the pencils felt, and how I couldn't layer the colours. I am just starting to get the grasp of coloured pencil techniques (thanks to many talented youtubers and their tutorials), but I feel I'm unworthy of luminance/pablo right now...... Since I swatched them out I've yet to use them in a proper drawing. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just weird...?

OC inspired by Monster Hunter.

Done in copic and pencils. Think this was done around 2016/17... It was an old sketchbook.

I love looking through old stuff, some of it is cringy, and some makes me feel like I didn’t improve at all (cos they were good). But it’s a part of my experience, and growing up as an artist. It’s nostalgic to flip through and remember what I was doing and loving at the time. Like this one, probably done in the middle of pouring over 400 hours into Monster Hunter games...

Inktober 2018 Day 13 & 14. Hime and Miss Witch in copic and watercolour! I drew this with the intention of them being a pair of bookmarks, but I couldn’t nail the size... so they turned out a tad bigger than a normal bookmark. Might be useful for huge science books.
