Waiting 2 months for 5 chapters is not that bad, really. Just wait till they catch up and you’ll have to wait a month for a new chapter (or half a year for a new volume).

The HanaNene ship is definitely sailing! Whether they see each other in a romantic light at this point is open for interpretation, but there’s no doubt they have a special relationship and it might grow into something more.

Hanako-kun’s still being serialized in G-Fantasy, but there is a new web magazine hosted on pixiv called P-Fantapi that is running a 4-koma manga called Houkago Shounen Hanako-kun (After-School Shounen Hanako-kun). You can read it for free here.

It’s a running gag that Hanako can’t keep his hands (or his entire person, really, I don’t think he weighs much) off Nene. Please look forward to vol 4 for more Hanako+Nene goodness!

As for the seal on his cheek... Let’s just say vol 4 will give you something interesting to think about :)

Yen Press has been releasing the books on a pretty regular schedule. Vol 4 will be out this month on the 27th and vol 5 is scheduled to be released on April 24. Please support the official releases if you can!

It’s best to contact Yen Press directly to let them know your interest in print editions, either by email ([email protected]) or through social media(they seem to be pretty active on Tumblr and Twitter). Digital only series have been published in print before because of strong fan demand (e.g. The Royal Tutor, also published in GFantasy), so it’s important to make your voice heard!

From my own experience it’s available in most bookstores, unless you’re in a really rural area. The Animate store in Osaka will most definitely have them in stock, and if all else fails there’s always Amazon (free delivery to wherever you’re staying). Hope you can find them!

The cafe collaboration must have been very successful (it even got extended), because they’re releasing another series of acrylic charms. These are currently available for preorder.

I'm really excited to start read Jibaku no Hanako-kun now that it's licensed! I saw that the first volume was released digitally, but do you think that they'll release paper books anytime?

Right now it’s digital only, but as with many other Yen Press series, print editions might be possible if there’s a big enough market for it. Write to them and let them know your interest!

hello hello! aaa rip i don't know if you remember me, but i have asked about 3 to 4 questions in he past. It's been a really long time but i honestly want to thank you and stardyst-omelette for the taking all the time on translating and bringing us to the series. Backstory anon :)

It’s one of the biggest mysteries (no pun intended) in the series right now. He literally changed fate by dying before his appointed time, so it could have been a suicide or an exchange of some sorts. It's obvious that he feels a lot of guilt over the whole thing, but who knows if that was his motivation or not… But yeah I’m probably going to cry lots when the truth is revealed

It’s definitely heavily implied!

We don’t have a lot of information to go off of, but Amane’s conversation with Tsuchigomori in chapter 14 (insisting that he’s allowing the abuse to happen), and Tsukasa’s dialogue in chapter 20 (liking the look on people’s faces when they’ve had enough; let’s play together like we used to etc) do seem to point to that direction. And, well, we’ve already seen what he’s capable of with a pen. It could be the reason why Amane snapped and killed him.

It raises interesting questions, considering the kind of wounds that were on him…
