Remus sat on the stairs of the rink, waiting for Lily to finish ice skating. Suddenly, he felt a tud at his side and saw a man sit beside him. Not gonna lie, he was gorgeous with his black hair and blue eyes. That made Remus self conscious of the decision that brushing his hair that morning was innecesary. The boy catched him staring and smiled.

“Ooh, why are you staring? Saw this beauty and couldn’t keep your eyes from it?”

Remus blushed and looked away, embarrassed.

“Ok, sorry, didn’t mean to offend you or anything. Better question, then. Why are you here? Don’t tell me you enjoy ice skating.” He said, pointing at his crutch.

“I’m waiting for my friend. She wanted to come here but needed a ride, and now I’m stuck here for an hour.”

“Look! We already have something in common! I had to give a ride to my baby brother, but don’t tell him I called him that, he’d kill me and I appreciate living.”

Remus chuckled and the boy smiled a bit more.

“I don’t think I’ve introduced myself. I’m Sirius Black.”

“Sirius? Like the star?”

He gasped.

“Oh my gosh, a nerd! Yes, don’t tell me your name is Lupus or something.”

“Well, my surname is Lupin, so… but I’m Remus. Nice to meet you.”

“Well, Remus, since our comrades are going to be here for at least another hour, fancy some coffee?”

Remus smiled.

“Yes, coffee sounds perfect.”
