Itās been a little bit! Thereās a few things I need to do this little thing, time and space and horniness and Iāve been lacking all of them over the winter. So it turns out theĀ āexplicitā flag in the settings still exists, and that I was supposed to tick it off as well as remove all the content. I just sort of assumed the category would cease to exist oO

Welp, the blog is now all sorts of work friendly (not that I would recommend browsing it at work mind). I canāt begin to imagine how you train a computer to look for genitals so I appreciate that being only slightly better thanĀ āessentially randomā is reasonably impressive, but itās going to make -staying- compliant a little fiddly.

Have you thought about moving to BDSMLR?
I had a quick look - I donāt think enough people go there naturally to make it a solid option, at least not yet. The same goes for most of the newer, smaller sites - Thanks to everyone who suggested something though. Iām going to keep my eyes open - Iām looking at posting in three places here, if that can become a one stop shop again? Very much up for that.
The other natural fit would have been reddit, but itās harder to browse through posts there, and Iām really not keep on the whole upvote/downvote thing - it always seems a bit competitive when people in this space are kind of looking to build a positive self image.Ā
Twitter isnāt ideal by any means, but itās something everyone is already familiar with. By the way, I just discovered you can switch accounts on the mobile app, if anyoneās concerned about nylon clad legs popping up in your regular feed =3
Quick edit to cover all of the ground in one post: sites that are intentionally designed for hosting porn are a visual nightmare. I donāt know why. There are too many of them for to be unintentional!

When I thought this blog would just disappear my first instinct was to just start linking to basically everyone I follow - especially those for whom this is a revenue stream. Lot of great artists founded an audience here.
But Iām going to try and keep it online by tidying up half a billion flagged posts which changes things a bit - I donāt want to link to all that awesome lewdness if I then need to delete it.Ā
One thing about Twitter though (which I am still getting used to - any likes page tells you more about my sexuality than basically anyone in real life knows), you can just see who I follow, which is everyone active on here whoās posted a Twitter account so far (that I havenāt simply missed!). Lots of good stuff there (though currently it leans a little towards the vanilla glamour model end - thatās all I used to use Twitter for, they tend not to have Tumblrs!)
Iām not joking when I say this was my first priority, lol. I wanted somewhere that is clean looking, has large galleries and that you can easily browse through and download pictures.Ā
Imgbox can do all that, but without the advantage Tumblr had of being somewhere people already came to browse, distribute and link lewdness. Iām happy with it for the moment, even if the feedback isnāt anything like as good on Twitter just yet (I really enjoy reading comments ^^)

How do you fine folk feel about imgbox? Iām thinking of maintaining a full archive of the pictures there, and adding to it every time I post, so it all stays in one easy to browse place (or several places - the limit is 500 pics per gallery)

Do you have any plans for where you will be blogging once the porn ban is in place?
Not just yet. Iād hope that much of what Tumblr loses will coalesce around something new and Iāll follow, but thatās going to take a little while.Ā
In the meantime Iām planning on finding a site that does galleries fairly well, and then link to that through Twitter. If I can find the time, I might even try to clear the NSFW from this blog (Iām pretty sure I have it all backed up already, just not in an organised way) - there are a surprising number of sexy blogs I follow that donāt break the new rules and I donāt know if people will still be here for those, but who knows.
