charles vs the merc/rbr engines
this is the charles leclerc p4 -> p1 good luck post
âF1 rpf is never dead for those who believeâ
- Charles Leclerc this weekend
yes if we have a mercedes engine đââïž
âstraights arenât really our thingâ đđđ
max with a huge tow still 3 tenths behind a merc i think merc should get another aduo upgrade theyâre struggling so much
Kimi was 3 tenths quicker in sector 1 (all about power) and then lost his advantage entirely in sector 2 (all about technical ability)... yeah, that's because Charles is an extremely talented qualifier. Kimi is just in an extremely fast car.
charles always giving me hope đđ
if i have to hear the words "deployment issue" one more time, i might start attacking people
The final corner and he picks max oh my lord nothing has really come close to the yaoi cocaine of 2010s mcu Steve bucky "till the end of the line" for me really but this is close. This will work.
âUntil the final cornerâ and âwe started together in 2010, weâve climbed all the categories side by side.â I'm sorry, those are vows. Charles decided to use media day to publicly recommit to his soulmate, Max.
god please take the happiness of 2026 british grand prix winner charles leclerc, triple it, and give it straight back to him
Ah my beautiful lestappenâŠ.
no offense to the english but i just found out england has only ever won the world cup once.. wtf do you mean âitâs coming homeâ she doesnât even know you omg
those funny erling haaland memes but with ilya rozanov because this type of humor is very ilya coded to me
For me the biggest issue with publishing fanfic is that it introduces potential commercialization to a space that has been grown on the unique (special and precious) premise of no monetary value of the main âcommodityâ (the fan works). It used to be space that specifically fostered community as its main form of compensation (for lack of a better word) to the creator. The introduction of possible monetary benefit changes the way people now interact with fanfic be it writers or readers.
And on top of that is the issue of fanfic and original writing being fundamentally different form of media that require different skillset to master. And because publishing houses see fanfics as quick cheap money with a pre established audience, they have no interest in teaching these fist time authors the skills necessary for success in this new field. Which means there are crappy books made our of great fanfics. And all of them cast a weird shadow over the fandom.
Anyway, I agree that we should stop doing this because it feels like a parallel to the endless sequels/prequels/ip epidemic in movies where we desperately lack original stories.
yeah exactly itâs an amateur space & itâs great!!! we donât need to monetize everything!!! we can do stuff only for the fun of it!!! and i agree that it changes the relationship between readers & writers and i think itâs sad bc weâre all just fans sharing stuff at the end of the day, no one is better nor is lesser. thereâs a great talent pool in fanfic writers but it is a drastically different exercise than the one of published fiction and i hate that it gets a bad reputation because editors are not developing those talents and just copy pasting existing amateur work for the potential money. at the end of the day itâs CAPITALISMâs fault!! fuck you!!!!!
so i'd like to add a bit of context to this....
tldr: the influx of fanfic getting published is absolutely bc of capitalism, wanting to monetize fan content, and take advantage of existing fandoms. but more specifically it has to do with how books are marketed these days and what kinds of audiences the industry is trying to cater to (and why)
