I need some advice!!! i wanna get on birth control because me and my boyfriend wanna be extra protected, but my mom is very religious and i dont know how to even bring the topic of sex to her!! how should i bring this up?? also happy birthday!

I would not bring it up if your Mom is not open to it.  Find a Planned Parenthood close to you and get your meds.  By the way, if you have medical insurance, your primary care doc can prescribe the medication and you will still have privacy, thought you will have to pay for it yourself.  I strongly recommend you use the bc.  Parents are pretty squeamish about sex anyway and highly religious folks are usually more so.  Protect yourself, and leave Mom out of it.  This is your health and life, you do what you need to do.
