That voice made Ian turn back to see his mentor in front of him. The man couldn’t help the big, big smile that formed on his lips when Torin spoke. They haven’t see each other since the last battle and he was really big part of the team, not only as a mentor. “Torin, I am glad to see you. Well, since I really should start working so I can live, of course, I was thinking about what type of job should I choose.”

"I see." Torin nodded. “I suppose with the fight over, it is time for you to start the rest of your life.”

The spirit let off a small smile. “Well as any man should do when facing a decision like this… Is find what your passion is? What are you passionate about?”

"Passion, you say.. Well, history and paleontology. For now, I am thinking of a History teacher or continue as treasure hunter, like in the time when I was working with Shiro." It was hard to decide, really. Now, Ian could see it clearly.

"Well, History teacher could work." Torin thought about it. "You were good at getting the team focused and educating then about the different batteries."

Hikari shot back, He stumbled as the sword struck down against the axe. given the weapon’s weight, it fell before he could let go of it, and he stumbled forward, dropping and rolling away from the strange bird before pushing himself back up. He also didn’t usually fight alone, and was finding this difficult without his friends backing him up. "What are you after?!"

"Don’t concern yourself with what I am after." Torin stood ready to strike again. “Observe. Learn. Win.” He explained as he stood between the axe. “What did your attack fail?”

"I’m pretty sure I should be concerned as to why some giant bird is swinging a sword at me!" Hikari huffed, hefting the axe back up, bracing himself to defend. "You’re faster than me. Maybe stronger. I’m not sure. But you’ve got more experience, so I’m at a disadvantage."

"Good start." Torin said as he attacked Hikari again aiming directly at the axe. "A heavy weapon like this is good for making a large impact on either a large group of enemies or a larger slow singular target. I am a single quick skilled opponent, that won't give you the free time to swing an axe around."

The bird man continued to attack the axe Hikari was using as a shield. "If you had a team with you, you could use them to give yourself an opening to attack me. Alone however, you don't have that opportunity." Torin stopped his attack and backed up for a second. "Use the right tool for the right situation."

Hikari frowned. this one was pretty straight-forward. To the point. He pressed a button on the device attached to his wrist, lifted the handle, and pushed the green train into it. “ToQ Change!”

He pulled the handle back down  and the call that the transformation was arriving sounded out, a while line appearing between them on the ground, warning Torin to stay back. The same voice announced him as ToQ4 as the green suit appeared over him. He summoned the tunnel axe and threw himself forward, swinging the heavy weapon at the strange bird.

Torin moved to the side keeping himself parallel with the axe. “Good effort, poor form!” Torin placed the blade of his sword where the axe and it’s handle is connected and used it’s own weight and momentum to either make Hikari fall forward or lose grip of the axe.

Hikari’s mind instantly jumped to something from the Shadow Line. After all, what ELSE ever looked like that? It was some kind of giant walking bird, demanding to fight him! But if the Shadow Line had any presence int his town, the conductor would have told them when they’d stopped, right?

He tucked his kendama back into his coat, ing his ressha out instead. “What are you after?” Hikari asked flatly, setting his bag of food on the ground so that he could prepare to transform.

Torin pulled out a sword and pointed it as Hikari. “Begin!” He barked as he waited for the other man to transform.

Hikari walked, a bag of light foods and snacks in one hand, his kendama in the other, tossing the ball, catching it, humming idly to himself as he went. He needed to stash some snacks around the train if he was going to ever get any food in him without Right stealing half of it.

Hikari didn’t eat quite as fast and Right had always had a habit of assuming he didn’t want something that wasn’t eaten by the time Right had finished his own food. He didn’t mind much really. It had just lead him to keeping a stash of extra food around.

So Hikari walked along, thinking if there was anything else he wanted to pick up before heading back…

AkaRed hands Torin a sunflower, turned silver through a magic spell. "This is for the happy life you deserved, but never got to live."

Torin took the sunflower and smiled. "I appreciate the gift my friend but, I think you may be a bit confused." Torin said as he laid the sunflower next to the battery charger. "My life may have not been perfect, and there were a lot of things that could have gone better however, I wouldn't dare trade it away."

He walked next to the red warrior. "You've seen the world out there. How precious it is. How amazing the people are. How beautiful nature is. The fact that I was able to spend my life protecting such a place is more then enough to make me happy." He added as he looked up.

"Considering what I was created to do, I couldn't me happier with how my life turned out. I may have had some hard times... And lost many friends and allies." The berd looked back down at AkaRed. "But the great friends I've made, that amazingly brave warriors, humans and dinosaurs alike, I've had the honour to fight with, the ones I've left the future of this planet to. They've given me more then I could have ever wished for."

"So once again, thank you for the sentiment but, rest assured, my life was filled with plenty of joy and happiness. Being able to not only watch but help young men and women become Kings, skilled swordsman and warriors of compassion. A little of me carried with them at all times... How couldn't I be as happy and proud as I am today?"

"Eh?" Kegalesia tilted her head. "It’s not that cool, ojaru…" She shifted a bit, "It’s crowded and Gunpei leaves stuff everywhere and it’s cold all the time especially int he winter, ojaru."

"Machine World was hot and loud and dark… All machines… the Engines and the Gaiark mostly, ojaru. It was all territorial disputes and bad politics and a few of us just wanted out so we came here, ojaru."

"I got what I wanted in the end I guess, and I have a warm place to sleep, so…" She looke dback to Torin and nodded, "Yeah… I guess I am, ojaru."
