Okay, I've had my TMA interest spark recently while Date Everything has its death grip on me, so here are some thoughts on a few characters that I could see being avatars/touched by a fear/giving a Statement.
Arma - gives a Statement about encountering a Desolation Avatar/nearly became a Desolation Avatar herself.
Daemon - Avatar of the Spiral/Curruption.
Diana - victim of the Spiral.
Eddie and Volt - okay, of course I have some thoughts for my favorite boys. I think Eddie and Volt were dating when Eddie encountered something of the Buried. Maybe even owned an artifact that started to turn him into an Avatar of the Buried. In an attempt to help Eddie, Volt gives himself to the Vast, freeing Eddie from the Buried's control, but binding himself to the Vast in the process. Eddie still has a connection to the Buried but pulling on it isn't a good idea. Now, Volt is an Avatar of the Vast and the two do their best to stay low and keep the Vast happy.
Farya - gives Statement about treating multiple Avatars, since she runs a "back alley way" medical center to pay for medical school. She becomes popular among Avatars since she really doesn't blink twice at any weird anatomy, just enthusiastic to get practice outside of a textbook.
Keyes - ... I wanna make her an Avatar of the Slaughter. She deserves to slay!
Lady Memoria - gives a Statement about an encounter with the Lonely.
Maggie - Eye Avatar. Do I even need to explain?
Vaughn Trapp - encounter with Curruption Avatar while trying to exterminate rats. Managed to avoid being currupted because he was so focused on rats that he completely missed the spooky stuff.
Zoey Bennett - marked by the End. Maybe even an Avatar of the End in this AU.
