I was one of the first people here… yet somehow I’ve watched approximately 47 imaginary episodes of Waiting Room: The Series while the doctor is still loading. 😒

Since I had nothing else to do, I worked on a personal mental health piece. This drawing is based on one of the shadow figures I’ve experienced. Art has always been one of the ways I express experiences that are difficult to put into words. 💙🤍

Now excuse me while I continue my thrilling adventure of staring at the exam room door and pretending every footstep is my doctor. 😂

Meanwhile your favorite tea and coffee gremlin has been powered by 4 cups of caffeine ☕, nicotine 👄, and pure artistic delusion all day trying to finish this.

Then the Bedtime Patrol kicked the door open like:

Me: “But I’m almost fini…”

👮 “BED. NOW.”

I somehow negotiated a temporary art permit, finished the painting, and am now being escorted to Sleep Jail. 😭💛

So… Poison Control told me to avoid nicotine tonight.

Meanwhile my AuDHD brain filed a complaint with HR and came back with:

“Absolutely the fuck not.” 😭

Then it spotted the vanilla latte my aunt bought me and went:

“Two caffeinated lattes at 3 AM? Approved.” ☕☕🤦‍♀️

At this point I’m pretty sure my impulse control clocked out hours ago and left a sticky note that just says:

“Good luck, Dani.” 😂

Tomorrow’s Me is already drafting a strongly worded complaint.
