Do not stay in a retail store or restaurant past closing time. I mean unless you’re just finishing up paying and it’s like 5 mins after. It’s rude. I know the people who work there say, “oh no it’s ok”. They’re lying. It’s not ok they just have to say that.

the other day these two ladies walked in and when it’s like 15 or 20 mins to close when people walk in we say “hi! just to let you know we are closing in about 15 minutes!” as like a courtesy cause some people just don’t know. anyway these ladies got all mad and were like THATS NOT A GREETING!!! and then they were like “can you call whatever is the nearest ____ store and see if they have this purse?” and i was like is there something wrong with that one and she was like “welll im not going to actually spend money at a place where i received such a rude greeting!!!” i was like floored. we close at 8 and it was like 7:50 and one of them says to the other, “i’m gonna make sure to stay till 8:00, too!!” like THE pure hate in that persons’ heart was what retail is truly about
