i thought i'd just say that i didn't pick norman reedus as my fc for barney because he carries a crossbow. in fact, i'd rather not have DARYL related things in my portrayal of barney at all. i picked reedus because of his ability to portray strong characters while also maintaining a sense of childish innocence.

i'm not sure what other barney(s) you're referring to. As one of the only few on Tumblr and, as far as I'm aware, the only one that uses Norman Reedus, I just wanted to make it clear to you (and to others) that I take my characters seriously. I had barely watched TWD prior to making Barney, so in no way, shape, or form is my Barney DARYL. I didn't base Barney off of Daryl. I don't use TWD as source material. They are no way influenced by one another. The fact Norman Reedus has photos with a crossbow was an added bonus and that has been the only thing I've worked into his story. Otherwise, my Barney is Barney and has no connection to Daryl. I found it rude that you would publicly accuse someone of using "Daryl" as Barney, and since I can't fathom who else you would be referring to, I thought I would respond. Even if you weren't referring to me, I'm sure other people who use him as a FC have their reasonings, just as you have yours for using MCH.
