Hey!Say!JUMP shows Oricon that their new system of counting CD sales can’t stop idols from taking the number one spot. Basically the “new system” doesn’t count “the album sales” anymore, it’s more like “how many people bought the cd” so we can say that it’s more like a Cd per capita ranking than a sales one. Many argue that this was made with the solely purpose of restrain idols as it hurts them more (specially groups that uses “extras” to sell more, like multiple editions or handshake tickets). JUMP was affected by this last year when Billboard reported like 15k more copies sold than Oricon for Fantastic Time and Give me Love. But now with OTT, JUMP stills manage to break Maji SUNSHINE’s record of the best first week selling more than 272k copies!!! #theboysdon'tstop
