Surgical recovery is so stupid because every few hours I get bored and my options for spicing things up is like 1: call my dad and complain until he comes and hangs out with me or listens to me rant 2: go to the bathroom because that’s the only way I am allowed to move 3: cry (there were once upon a time more options but I’ve had the wound since November so I’m lowkey done)

I’ve had a couple of people tell me how jealous they are that I sit in bed all day and got to stop school and quit my job or whatever and that I just get to play video games and draw and stuff but what they don’t see is that I actually want more than anything to have succeeded at school this year and that I miss my job terribly and that I’m bored as shit of all of my hobbies to the point of almost hitting burnout. All I’ve been able to do for months is sit around and do nothing. I am miserable
