Print on paper and a spectator’s perception. Both elements deficient due to physical limitations; the printer can only print ‘so delicately’, and the human eye only perceive ‘so much’ at once.
Within the computers algorithms the image is perfect and pure, a simple design made up by concentric circles enclosing towards the center. But the picture’s perfection stands pointless as it is incomprehensible by humans.
The limitations of the printer results in a manifestation full of flaws and chaotic inaccuracies. The human eye is likewise limited, making it impossible to experience the print in whole.
When standing close to the work to experience its details, it extends beyond the visual field. And when standing at a distance to experience its wholeness the fine details becomes a blurry grey.
The first translation explores the relation between the constructed eternity of the computer and the mundane manifestation of the print. The second explores the relation between the printed picture’s tactile presence and the spectator’s experience of infinity when trying to perceive it.

The assignment was to do a culture- and open workshop house in Nordvest area of Copenhagen. The main idea is to have a heavy mountain like part in the bottom and a floating cloud like part on top. Symbolizing the body and mind of the creative users of the house.
