I wish I could explain to people who don’t understand, that taking a strong medication that blocks pain receptors is genuinely one of the most euphoric feelings ever, because imagine taking something to stop one unusual, but specific pain (cut, sore head, period cramps) and then suddenly you can walk without pain and lie down and it feel good
