A couple weeks ago, on my Patreon, I started delivering my Interpretation of I.33 Sword and Buckler. The M.S. I.33(Walpurgis Fechtbuch) is the oldest surviving manuscript on historical fencing that reached us, dated between the end of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th.
This manual is often considered a conundrum, but after more than a decade passed over it, moving through various approaches to the practice and interpretations of the concepts presented on it, I finally decided to deliver my work.
If you are interested in exploring this subject in depth, consider joining my Patreon, you'll find the link below.
The videos are available to "HEMA student" and higher tiers.
A few months ago me together with Niccolò and Julian of "The Spadone Project" thanks to the help of Leonardo Picco behind the camera, shot this video together ad the Landesmuseum in Zurich. The video shows an in depth analysis of a real Federschwert stored there, I bet you'll find it interesting!
I have a new series on videos on my Patreon which is going on since a roughly a month, it's called "Mastering Techniques", as my favorite part of fencing is, indeed, technique. In this series I deliver all that info which people need to build up their fencing by a technical perspective:
Which movements connect best, which parries, how to execute them and when, at which distances, and similar stuff.
Since my Full Interpretation of the Fiore Largo section is complete, and the Poste Series is close to its end too, Now it's possible to build up the technical repertoire on top of those two pilasters.
Check my Patreon out if you may find it appealing, to follow the series you need to subscribe to the "HEMA Student" tier or to higher ones.
This week I uploaded the first video of a new format which will now on be published roughly once per month on my Patreon.
The "Mastering Techniques" will be about technical approaches and further details related to single techniques, combinations and body mechanics.
It will be accessible by the 9.50$ Tier "HEMA Student" and above ones, together with my Fiore Full Interpretation Series, and my more casual, while full of insight series "Your Nerdy Video".

In this video I explore the Under-Arm guard in relation to some key difference while fencing with the Arming Sword if compared to later one handed weapons.
The past December I managed to finish my full interpretation of the Wide Play of the Two Handed Sword. With 450 minutes of videos shot, this series is my little jewel as I try to go into the detail of every play, both in terms of interpretation and execution.
Now the second part of the project started, I begun to shoot and publish my interpretation of Zogho Stretto (Close Plays), which will complete the Two Handed Sword. I'll then move to analyze the one handed sword section after finishing with this one.

Hello dear Followers, I thought to make a video about this, as I mentioned in my post in December, but I don’t like the idea of wasting a video for such a futile subject, so I’ll make another post on my social media instead, in the hope to reach some more of you!
I’m trying to reach a Thousand dollars donations on Patreon, this is not for the sake of greed or vanity, but is a necessity brought by the fact that, since this month onward, I’ll have to pay more in terms of taxes! Which for a YouTuber with a Zilion views would probably mean "Oh, it seems I'll not buy my second Lambo, after all", for me instead it's more like "Oh sh*t, my car broke down... Well! It seems I'll have to travel by feet from now on!"
This is due to a perfect storm brought by the new European law called “DAC7”, implemented in 2024 and applied this month, the complex nature of my Job (Patreon, Youtube, Sport Activities and eventually Writing) and the Italian taxpaying rules (Which are as easy to figure out as 100.000 pieces puzzle without reference image).
The good news is that the goal is pretty close, as I already passes the 900 Dollars goal! Of course, by Subscribing to my Patreon you’ll get access to hundreds of Videos and Articles which I made in the past years, comprehensive of my full Interpretation of Fiore de’ Liberi “Gioco Largo” (Now complete) and “Gioco Stretto” sections, which I just started publishing a few days ago.
Check the link below if you want to give me a hand, many
Thanks.

The SIGI Light is the new model of Feder made by SIGI Forge. It is surrounded by controversies due to its weight. If you want to hear my opinion about it, check the video above.
My "Longsword Technique Compendium" series, is something I do once in a while to deliver a collection of informations about a specific topic, without any specific rule or organization. This time the topic was "The Feint".
Remember that, if you want to see my videos two/three days in advance, or if you want to know more about my work, you can check my Patreon:
