“So, you have to take hormones?” Daryl asked as the two of you walked down to the prison gates. Daryl had offered to try and teach you how to hunt.
“Yeah. Before, I’d try and collect as much T as I could so I could manage my doses. It’s a little hard when you lose track of the days and months,” you said, shrugging your shoulders. “Why? What’s made you so interested about it?”
Daryl made a grunting noise in the back of his throat. “I dunno. S’just interestin’.” he said, looking a little awkward as the back of his neck went beet red.

“Well, it’s nice that you’re interested, and that you help me get my shots now,” you said. You could remember the first time the two of you went on a run together, and you had to awkwardly explain what the vials had inside of them. Daryl had been rightfully confused; you passed well enough, after being on hormones for a few years before the end of the world, and you’d have top surgery to boot.
When Daryl had realised, he had tried his best to do right by you, to make sure you got the medical help you needed whilst in the apocalypse.
“Does T run out of date?” Daryl said as you took the crossbow from beside the gates, some bolts pulled into the quiver by your side.
“Probably. I’ve never really checked,” you said as Rick and Beth opened up the gates, letting you two leave the safety of the prison.
“We should check, when we’re on our next run.”
You nodded your head, and let Daryl lead the way into the trees.
It was quiet between you both as Daryl led the way tracking an animal. He had taught you how to track, to tell the difference between walker and human prints, what to look for when it came to animals to hunt.
It was nice, learning from Daryl. He did his best to make sure he got his point across, and didn’t get angry when you made a mistake.
Being around Daryl was nice too. Though you knew that there was something happening, something more, between the two of you, you both still kept dancing around it. You knew that Daryl’s family, Rick and the others, were amused at how you two were nervous, dancing around the issue. Neither of you wanted to make the first move.
Daryl kept close to you in the woods, bodies almost pressed together. You were following a boar, from the looks of the tracks. It was becoming easier, tracking, and you knew it was because of Daryl and his skills, the way his voice kept your attention on him.
It wasn’t fair that Daryl was ridiculously attractive. That he kept caring and offered to go on runs with you for hormones, and would go out of his way to stop people from being assholes to you if they figured out you were trans.
Daryl was a nice man, and you wanted more of him. You wondered if he felt the same as you did.

i haven’t made anything in a while, and i reblogged that post to point out that content creators on this platform get little to no recognition - if you look in the notes of my content, the huge majority is just likes, and very few reblogs. That being said, I will get back into posting content at some point, it just may not be during this month. You can send in stuff (hence why requests are open), but I may take a while to get to it

No content November is an invite to all creators that share their work on social media for free. The proposal is a month of no content at all (except paid content, like Patreon, Commissions, etc.)
What is the goal?
To show how much creators work everyday and how internet would look without all of what we do for free, and a lot of people take for granted. No at. No witting. No videos. Nothing.
How do I participate?
During the month of November, don’t share on social media any sot of work that isn’t paid.
If you are not a creator and want to participate, show your support to your favorite creators by sharing and rebloging their work!

This is not a movement trying to guilt trip anyone, it’s a genuine problem million of creators face everyday, and sometimes actions speak louder than posts calling your followers to please share the work they decided to followed you for.
Our work can’t reach far if it isn’t with your help. A lot of people can’t support the content creators with money, because it’s hard, but there are other ways of show your support.
I’m not the first to say it, and I probably won’t be the last, but sharing, rebloging, sending nice comments, showing you enjoy the content, that is more helpful an valuable than you can imagine.
With reblogs you help us reach new people and you inspire us to create more content than before!

I think if I were to do this ask, I’d have to need more of an idea to it. And I don’t write smut btw (I’ve said it a few times but it’s bc i’m hella uncomfortable with writing that kind of stuff).
so i write fancition on other sites - A03 and Wattpad. On A03 I’m writing more niche selections so I don’t usually get comments n mostly just get kudos. I live for the comments, and they make me really appreciate fanfic and make me want to do it.
On Wattpad? My most “known” fic is a diego hargreeves fic. I sometimes get a few people commenting (maybe several times) per chapter. And that shit just makes my DAMN DAY, like, i have a big old grin on my face, and i get to basically see their thought process as they make their way through the fic.
Until someone comes along and just asks when I’m updating it. I just got a comment, from someone who’s never commented on my stuff before, asked for if I’ll be posting content for s2 of TUA. I don’t know this user (i remember more or less everyone who comments or at least recognise them) and they just asked for more content without voting or commenting before. Just asking for more damn content from me.
That fucks with me, and i’m sure it fucks a lot of other writers too.
Why, you may ask? Oh, because this person, and several others, only comment when they want more. I don’t want anything from you other than to comment and vote/leave kudos. Asking when I’ll be updating makes me less productive, and I’m sure that’s how other writers feel.
The same thing is on here too. On this page I write your requests and do what is the best of my abilities with the ideas I’m given. I mostly do all the requests, sometimes I don’t because of my inexperience with the request/it’s something I’m generally not familiar with. I get very few reblogs on my content here, which is a major reason as to why I vanished for a bit.
I really fucking enjoy writing and making this content, but sometimes it’s just giving and giving and I get no good value from it.
This is just a little rant that people will probs ignore but I wanna finish it off with this:
Fic writers live for your happy comments, your votes and kudos, your likes, your reblogs. But when we see how very few reblogs there are, how very few comments there are, it makes it feel not worth it.
I love writing, but seeing people just ask for more and not tell me what they liked about it, it fucking sucks.

So you were short. That was how things went sometimes. It wasn’t like you could control your height. So you were teased a lot for it, mostly by a set of twins known as Fred and George Weasley.
The two were nightmares to deal with, and you’d grown up with them in the same year as you. They were infuriating as much as they were funny. Despite their disregard for authority, they kept catching your eye.
Fred Weasley, specifically, had a skill for it. You weren’t sure if you should’ve been annoyed at that or not.

Standing at around five foot two inches (maybe just slightly less, but no-one was pointing it out), whilst Fred Weasley did Not. He was taller, because he just had to be like that. He was tall, and was often teasing you for your boots that had heals to make you at least a few inches taller, or for the way you dressed outside of classes.
It wasn’t bad teasing, and if you thought about it enough, you thought that maybe it was flirting. Maybe. You weren’t sure, and didn’t want to ask him if it was actual flirting. It was just nice to have a friend in the twins, especially Fred.
“Ready to join the Weird Sisters?” Fred asked, taking in your appearance. You looked down at yourself; boots, ripped jeans, Weird Sisters t-shirt and a dark denim vest. It was a Saturday, and you were wearing your regular clothes.
“Ready to get your teeth knocked in?” you retorted, a light smile on your face as you looked up at him. Damn him and his tall genes. He was nearing six feet tall, and you most definitely were not.
Fred just smiled down at you, then patted you on the head like you were a dog. “There, there, Y/N. You’ll just have to start your own alt rock band.”
“Oh, yeah, totally.” You said with a nod. Merlin, why did he have to be like that? All light teasing and his complete disregard for authority. Damn him.
But still, it was nice regardless.
“So, what’s the latest prank idea on Filch?” you asked, and Fred grinned, beginning a long spiel of detail, explaining how he’d gotten Peeves on his side, and the twins and the poltergeist were teaming up, ready to swamp the fourth floor and make Filch’s life hell for a little bit.
“Sounds like you’re going to be busy,” you said as the two of you walked through the corridors no-one else seemed to know about.
Fred smiled down at you. “Maybe, but I always have time for you, shortcake.”
“Ah, the never ending short-themed nicknames.”
Fred’s smile got bigger. “Only for you, short legs.”
“My legs aren’t short,”
Fred raised an eyebrow at you, like he didn’t believe your words. “Whatever you say,” he said, and then his expression changed, like he was suddenly nervous. “Hey, do you want to, uh, go to Hogsmeade with me, next weekend?”
You looked at him, eyebrows raised in surprise. “What, just us?”
“Yeah. I mean, George and Lee are going to go to Zonko’s and fill up, but I ... well, I wanted to spend it with you. Like a date, if you want.” The words were hurried and nervous.
“Like a date?” you repeated. Fred’s ears were burning red, and you decided to put him out of his misery. “Sure thing, Freddikins. Date it is. You are not taking us to Puddifoot’s. If you do, no-one will know where to find your body.”
“Of course, cutie pie.”
You stomped on his foot at that nickname, and he yelped in pain. You forgot you were wearing your boots. That’s what happened to a guy who had no regard for authority, it seemed.
