sorry for being so quiet lately! work and personal stuff has left me really run down and tired so i haven’t been pushing myself to do much

there is something in mislyn that almost bristles at that . she feels there are both not nearly enough , & far too many people trying to stop her in recent months . it’s a maddening line she’s still learning to walk the edge of, day in & day out , & she thinks it keeps getting thinner . but that’s not what this is about . orlais is beautiful in an utterly cold & distant & bleakly impersonal sort of way , but she cannot find any beauty in winter palace , an opulent & glacial palace built on the bones of her people .

lileigh looks nice though , far batter than any sneering orlesian noble . so she manages to smile , gives a good natured laugh at the hushed tone of the other woman’s voice . ❛ well you might not but i’m sure lady montilyet would certainly try her hardest . though , if my lord calls me knife ear again , quiet as he thinks he’s being , i just might anyways . ❜
