psa! after much thought, i've decided that i will not be coming to this blog. nor, indeed, any of my tvdu muses. i won't go into too much detail but in short; i no longer feel comfortable or happy within this fandom. too much has happened that i'm struggling to put behind me. so, i'm moving on. i've made a home in other areas of the rpc and i'm happy. this isn't to say i'm abandoning the friends i've made here. in fact, i strongly encourage those closest to me to stay close, if you want to. but in the end, i've spent too much time trying to make myself happy here and the truth is that ship sailed last year.

i'm sorry. i love you guys, i love all of the muses i've written here. but all good things must come to an end.

i might catch you in other fandoms and whatnot. but, if i don't focus on being happy and safe. you deserve it <3

“i see alaric’s still a big loser.”  it hasn’t been long since silas last spoke to the headmaster but there are people who never change.  he became penelope’s guardian shortly after meeting her, they shared an understanding — both enjoyed causing mayhem and making waves.  and someone needs to stand up for the young witch and against the boarding school’s blatant nepotism.  his first interaction with alaric was over the phone and when the ancient witch was asked to have a conference with the almighty headmaster, he took it as a challenge and showed his face.  as soon as saltzman realized who it was, his face dropped.  “i thought i told him not to bother you anymore.”  a heavy sigh leaves his lips and a brow raises at the mention of the merge.  “um, yeah! if something awful was about to happen to you, i’d totally tell you. give you an advantage.”  people operate differently, silas prefers to rip off the band aid.  “and how’s josie taking the news? i mean, you did it for her, right?”  a smile curls on his lips, he lightly elbows her arm. 

his reply makes penelope laugh. silas always knows exactly what to say to her. and, no matter what she does, he’s always in her corner. she appreciates it more than she’d ever admit. after all, the immortal is a better parent than her completely absent father and semi-absent mother. ❛ i’d say loser is the understatement of the century, pops. ❜ the term ‘dad’ never really rolled off her tongue too well. but, she needed a term of endearment for him once he took her under his proverbial wing. ‘pops’ just works. ❛ oh, he still gets on my nerves every single day. sometimes just by existing. ❜ at least the brunette can be open and honest with him, without worrying that her criticisms would make their way back to him. ❛ i’d definitely want to know about like that. ❜ the idea of the merge terrifies penelope. the idea of losing josie for good? no, she can’t think like that. thankfully, his playful nudge pulls her back to this moment in time and she laughs. ❛ about as well as you can expect. ❜ perhaps she could’ve gone about telling her a different way but what’s done is done. ❛ you know i did. i’ll do anything for that girl. even if makes her hate me. ❜
