Final concept art with the textures on the braces removed, but added into the background trees, and sky.
Adding a little bit of texture and changing the colour scheme a little bit to have a darker, spookier night time scene. The textures on the braces block the saturated reds.

Moola concept art clean up and background detailing process. Cleaned up Moola’s lineart, and changed the front arm so that his hand is in view. The background buildings have been redesigned to look like houses. I’ve also fixed up the perspective a little bit and made everything a bit more round.

From last week’s feedback, I tried to vary my character’s body a bit to make it less human, and generic. The teeth are still the main feature of my character, so I redesigned my character with the teeth as the biggest part of its body.

Student chara iterations, animals with prominent teeth, squirrel, rabbit, chipmunk cheeks. Playing with form.
Character Exploration and World Building
Imagining what the roles in New Ivory would look like. Babies would start early with teeth because their teeth will grow out, and so depending on how their teeth turn out, they go to different schools to further their ‘education’.
The president is just the one with the nicest teeth.
Comedians have half their teeth.
Basketballers have lots and lots of teeth. They get insurance for them.
Waiters have large, and few teeth.
Janitors have smaller, scattered teeth.
Students are students, with teeth of varying shapes and sizes.
Character Iterations and Shapes
Some more character iterations - hunchback characters with crooked teeth working as transporters, like a pedicab. Also, the Smile Book. The red book carried by students when they attend school. Very important for their teeth’s growth.
