Hydrangeas should be the official flower of bisexuality.
Just heard the news that you passed away. We weren't the closest for very long, but that's only because you were difficult to be close to. We met in middle school when I was a young punk and you already had arms full of scars from putting a "death" in them. You had told me you started young and that no one cared, and that you didn't care either. We had art class together, we hit it off pretty well talking about music. We traded our favorite punk CD's at the time (my copy of "Stranger Than Fiction" by Bad Religion for your copy of "Energy" by Operation Ivy). I had never heard ska before, and that album very quickly became my favorite and changed me. I still know every song by heart. You had a tattoo on your hand that was a simple "XO", I asked you what it meant to you, and then you introduced me to Elliott Smith. You loved his music so much that the ones close to you would occasionally call you "Elliott", myself included, because you insisted. Anyone who knows me today knows that Elliott Smith is by far one of my absolute favorite artists of all time, I've been thinking about getting an Elliott tribute tattoo myself. It's sad and surreal to know that you are gone. We were all rooting for you, but you weren't on your own team. I understand. Rest easy, Elliott aka Johnny.
When Patrick sang "I'm the kind of kid that can't let anything go" I felt that
Happy Pride you beautiful bi babe.
Thank you! ❤️💜💙
You deserve more.
What do you mean, anon?
shout out to all my working class vegans. we’re doing amazing even if people try and paint veganism as an expensive luxury only for the rich
I feel like there's this weird disconnect between myself and people who are my age. So far everyone I've made friends with during my stay in Chicago are 9-10 years older than me, and one of them is 5 years older. In my experience with even talking to people my age it just doesn't go well. And it always seems to be the same problem. A try-hard, cultivated persona. Lack of their own personality and identity. I can't relate to that. I went thru that phase a long time ago, and I grew out of it. I'm drawn to people who are unapologetically themselves. Those are the people who not only bloom but can help you grow. Being the rawest version of yourself is so much better than any facade you could ever put on.
still its a shock shock to your soft side/summer moon/catch ur shut eye in my room
I'm glad you believe in yourself. You're truly haunting.
I hope that's a good thing.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Well I am a ghost so, yes. I do.
I'll never be able to let someone in the way I let you in.
exhausted
To be expected: me being a total social ghost or a dramatic increase in social media presence. Not sure what's going to happen. Going thru some things Tired of starting over. Tired of breaking hearts. Tired of getting my heart broken. Tired of making decisions. Tired of the uncertainty of e v e r y t h i n g. Tired of being let down. I don't have much left to give into people. It's better if I'm a ghost for awhile, I think. Not sure if I'll ever be sure of what's good for me.
I had a dream about you last night.
What happened in the dream?
I moved to Downriver, and I got lost. I lost sight of what my plan was. Why I was doing what I was doing. It’s taken me awhile, but I understand again. I got lost in my head. I gotta get out of my head.
I’ve spent too much time worrying especially about my places of work. Worrying about working a dead-end job. But I remembered that it doesn’t matter where I’m working while I’m here bc my goal is to save $$$ any way I can so I can move back to GR or maybe if I’m lucky just skip it and head to the windy city.
my current job isn’t ideal, that doesn’t matter, but what does matter is that I’m hardly working. Filling out job apps is excruciating for me, but I did the damn thing today. and I’m going to do the damn thing tomorrow.
I’ve got this.
My mental health is being held together by chewed bubblegum and string. I thought long and hard about walking into traffic today but did not bc my mother would be very disappointed.
At werkkkk. Wishing I was on the beach with a ukulele.
