Hey, we’re Gray and Teddy.

Gray

I am a DID system, so my posts will vary on what the little calls me. That being said, I am NOT okay being directly called mama or mommy. You can call me 8 Bit, Gray, Mr. Gray/8 Bit, or baba. I love caregiving but do fall out of it sometimes if necessary.

They/them collectively but as DID can be, it changes. Feel free to always use they.

Teddy, Ms Teddy, or Ms Turtle. She’s my caregiver when I’m small but we also cg together. She’s the sweetest kindest person in the world and I love her.

Picking out little gifts for my regressor. Getting them a new plushie or two. Selecting an assortment of crayons and markers. Printing hand picked coloring pages to put in a binder for them. Choosing several colors of playdough. Getting them some fuzzy socks to keep them warm and snug. Picking out the perfect paci and bottle for them.

Big brother caregiver. He skateboards and wears eyeliner. He likes Converse, MCR, combat boots, and Blue October. He kisses your face and wipes your tears away. Has you do breathing exercises and gives you water (or poweraid for a special person). “Rockstar, you want your stuffie? How about your paci, little punk?”

Imagine waking up with your kiddo. “Good morning, hun”, you softly say as they stir a bit and blink their eyes open. You smile and ruffle their hair. “Ready to start the day?”, you ask as they stretch the sleepiness out of their body. They nod and smile. You kiss their forehead and get out of the cozy bed, scooping them up into your arms, and carrying them out of the room so you two can start your day.
