My First Book Review
I figure if I'm going to do my first book review, it's going to be on a book that followed me for a few days after I finished it. Jennette McCurdy was narrating my life for a while in my head and it was down right creepy, but also, pretty cool. I listened to this on Audible. Let's dive in. Overview: We follow the life of Jennette McCurdy from early life to about what I assume to be her 30s. It covers her ups and downs in life and she is the one to narrate this. I will try to keep this as spoiler free as possible. Pro: This book tackles some heavy topics such as eating disorders, narcissistic parents, religion, mental health, and some others, and it does it really well. Keep in mind this is an autobiography, so this is from Jennette's point of view and how she goes through the process of it. Con: I honestly can not find a thing wrong with this book. Final Thoughts: This is a 5 star book. I don't normally hand out 5 stars because I think so many books get that rank from other reviewers that it becomes meaningless, but this book is it. It is so well written, to the point where I had to stop what I was doing to focus on it, and I've got terrible ADHD. Does It Earn A Spot: This book earns a spot on my self for many reasons. It hits a little too close to home with the subject matter and is one that I will remember for a long time. 5/5 Stars Strongly Recommend.
