EDWARD CULLEN — THE MIND READER
From the start, Edward knew something was off. When he tried to read your mind, it wasn’t empty. But sometimes he hit something like a wave, a strange pressure that pushed back and left him disoriented. It was unfamiliar, unsettling, and impossible for him to ignore. He was used to hearing everything; with you, he couldn’t, and that alone made you an anomaly in his world.
When he learned the truth, it sent him into quiet spirals. You were too good, too selfless, too willing to suffer for people who would never know your name. Watching you brought back the darkest parts of his past, especially the years he hunted criminals and drank their blood, and there were moments when he was convinced you were too good for this world, and sometimes even too good for him. The contrast ate at him more than he let on.
He started watching you constantly, officially “for your safety,” though the unspoken truth was that it was also for his sanity. He stayed hidden, always nearby, a silent presence you eventually joked about, calling him your sidekick. He rolled his eyes, muttered something dry, but never corrected you, and never left you.
What unsettled him most was your self-sacrifice. He found it beautiful, but also horrifying, because he didn’t want you to keep suffering for others until there was nothing left. There was a quiet jealousy too. Not of your power, but of your freedom. You could help people openly, he never could. It would have been too risky. In the end, admiration was the truth he rarely voiced, but felt constantly.

CARLISLE CULLEN — THE DOCTOR
Carlisle might actually be the quickest to figure it out. Not because he expected it, but because he knew wounds. At first he’s too busy with hospital work to notice the little inconsistencies, and you’re busy enough that your strange hours looked like an ordinary job. But eventually he caught you hissing in pain, or saw you quietly stitching up a wound you tried to hide. You knew enough medical basics to cover up the signs, but pain had always been harder to mask.
And Carlisle was hyper-aware of every bruise, every wince and every shift in your breathing. You couldn't lie to a doctor, much less this doctor. He suspected something unusual is happening, though “superhero” was not his first guess.
When you finally told him the truth, Carlisle was stunned, and then deeply proud. He admired the work you do and most of all, the heart behind it. From that moment on, he becomes a pillar for you and your work.
He read every news article about you, followed every report, but never brought it up unless you do since he didn't want to bring work back home when you're already so exhausted after a day's work. Carlisle understood the weight of responsibility better than anyone, and he refused to add even one unnecessary burden to your shoulders. He simply stayed by your side, ready to help and hold you when the world got too heavy.

ALICE CULLEN — THE PSYCHIC
Alice had known long before you ever said a word. The vision came out of nowhere, leaving her momentarily confused since she didn't exactly keep track of human superheroes. The Cullens generally avoided dangerous spotlights, so seeing you living that kind of life surprised her more than she'd ever admit. Even then, she never pressed you for answers, though she left a hint or two that she knew here and there.
When you finally revealed the truth, she was practically vibrating with excitement. It wasn't because of the danger, but because she could finally help you without holding herself back. She immediately began sketching ideas for an improved costume, thinking of stronger fabrics and countless little upgrades that could make your job just a bit safer.
Once she knew your secret, her visions naturally became another way of protecting you. She would always warn you whenever she caught glimpses of danger and helped you avoid situations that could have ended far worse.
To Alice, loving you meant embracing every part of your life. Being your partner also meant standing beside you in your world, and she did so with complete faith in you.

ROSALIE HALE — THE BEAUTY
Rosalie had always been far more observant than people gave her credit for. It started with the bruises that appeared far too often, the unexplained injuries, and the way your work schedule never seemed to make any sense. At first, she genuinely believed someone was hurting you. More than once, she had to be talked down from tracking down whoever she thought was responsible and making them regret ever laying a hand on you.
The truth came out before she could act on those suspicions. When you finally admitted that you were the city's famous superhero, Rosalie was stunned into silence for a rare moment. She understood immediately why you had kept it a secret, but that didn't stop her from being frustrated that you'd been carrying such a dangerous burden alone.
After the initial shock wore off, pride replaced her anger. Rosalie admired your courage more than she openly admitted, knowing you willingly put yourself in danger to protect complete strangers. She still hated every injury you came home with, however, and never missed an opportunity to remind you that being selfless didn't mean you had to be reckless.
She also became one of your biggest supporters behind the scenes. Whether it was repairing your damaged equipment, or helping reinforce your gear with her mechanical skills, Rosalie found her own ways to take care of you. She couldn't stop you from being a hero, but she'd make sure you always had someone waiting to put the pieces back together whenever you returned home.

JASPER HALE — THE SOLDIER
Jasper hadn't immediately pieced everything together. It had been so long since he'd lived as a human that he often second-guessed the little things he noticed, convincing himself there was probably a perfectly normal explanation. The odd schedule, the bruises, the exhaustion after certain nights—he reasoned them away at first because he trusted you completely.
Still, the signs continued to grow until even he couldn't ignore them anymore. Through his ability, he could sense the emotions you tried so hard to hide. The adrenaline after disappearing for hours, the lingering guilt whenever innocent people got hurt, and the relief that washed over you after making it home safely all told him there was something much bigger going on. He never confronted you, believing that whatever secret you carried was yours to share when you were ready.
When you finally revealed that you were the city's famous superhero, Jasper was silent for a long moment before giving you a small, understanding smile. More than anything, he was relieved that you trusted him enough to tell the truth. He wasn't angry that you'd kept it from him, only saddened that you'd believed you had to carry the burden alone.
After that, Jasper became one of your greatest sources of comfort. Whenever you returned home after a difficult mission, he'd ease the fear, stress, sadness, and lingering anxiety you carried until you could finally breathe again. He knew he couldn't fight your battles for you, but if he could make the weight on your shoulders even a little lighter, then he considered it worth everything.

ESME CULLEN — THE LOVER
Esme didn't understand the signs at first. She noticed the late nights, the unexplained injuries, and the way you sometimes looked emotionally drained after coming home, but she never jumped to conclusions. Instead, she worried about you silently, wondering if something was troubling you that you didn't feel ready to share.
At one point, her concern became too great to ignore, and she decided to follow you from a distance. She had no intention of invading your privacy, only of making sure you were safe. What she witnessed instead left her completely stunned. Watching you disappear into the night and emerge as the city's famous superhero was the last thing she had ever expected.
When you finally came home and confessed everything, Esme's first instinct wasn't anger or disappointment. She simply pulled you into a hug, relieved that you were alive and finally willing to let her share the weight of your secret. She understood why you'd hidden it, but it broke her heart to think you'd believed you had to face so much danger on your own.
From then on, Esme became your safe haven after every mission. She was always waiting for you to return, ready to listen if you wanted to talk or simply sit beside you in comfortable silence if you didn't. She couldn't take away the risks that came with being a hero, but she made sure your home was always the one place where you could put down the mask and simply be yourself.

EMMETT CULLEN — THE JOKER
Just like Rosalie, Emmett was far more observant than most people gave him credit for. Sure, the two of you roughhoused all the time, and the occasional bruise wasn't unusual between you two. But he knew the difference between injuries he had accidentally caused during play and the ones that mysteriously appeared after nights you refused to talk about. He also noticed how your schedule became increasingly unpredictable and how exhaustion seemed to settle deeper into your eyes with every passing week.
At first, he wasn't sure what to do. Concerned but not wanting to pressure you, Emmett quietly sought advice from Rosalie and Esme, asking if they'd noticed the same things and wondering how he could help. He hated seeing you worn down, and the thought that you might have been dealing with something alone bothered him more than he'd ever admit.
The truth finally came when you revealed that you were the city's famous superhero. Emmett stared at you for a moment before breaking into a wide grin, equal parts amazed and proud. Of everyone, he probably thought it was the coolest secret imaginable, but that excitement quickly gave way to concern as he realized every bruise and sleepless night had come from risking your life for others.
After that, Emmett became fiercely protective. He'd eagerly listen to your stories, celebrate every victory with you loudly, and constantly remind you how incredible you were, but he'd also be the first to pull you into a hug after a particularly difficult mission. He admired your strength more than anything, yet he never wanted you to feel like you had to carry the weight of being a hero by yourself ever again.
Okay, question...if I wrote a fanfiction with my own original character added into the story, and maybe changed some relationships and shit...would you guys like...hate me for it?
