I just keep going. No matter what… even when I don’t know how I do it. I take this pain everywhere I go, all the way up with me and all of my successes.

I just keep going. No matter what… even when I don’t know how I do it. I take this pain everywhere I go, all the way up with me and all of my successes.
I wish an invisible illness was invisible to the person who has it too.
Trying to avoid a flare is like trying to avoid life. Impossible
Eric’s Journey Foundation is pleased to announce that we have recently been granted a federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit status. EJF had been working
As the volunteer editor for EJF, I am proud to announce that EJF has now been recognized as a non-profit. EJF aims to raise awareness for HLH, Stills Disease and all rare diseases.
Trying to keep up with the non spoonies of the world is exhausting
Pain, stress and life... not sure how I do this but I do it well
To all the spoonies awaiting the new year... we made it through 2020. That is a huge accomplishment.
As a spoonie trying to make it through the war on drugs with the pain meds I actually need is hell
Some days I can’t wait for morning, for a fresh start... but I just can’t sleep.
If there is something that makes you smile, do it as much as you can. And if there is someone who makes them smile, spend as much time as you can with them. Just smile as much as you can because as spoonies some days it’s hard to find anything to smile about.
As a spoonie it’s okay to be kind to yourself. Especially at this time of year. You have nothing to prove to anyone.
As a spoonie you have to put yourself first... always. Your life may depend on it.
You are amazing.... whatever your struggle is you’re getting through it. It’s that special spoonie power only other spoonies really understand.
Wear a mask... even if you can survive corona... why would you want to increase your chances of catching it.
As a spoonie, sometimes you have to choose between your health and someone in your life.
Keep going... no matter what just keep moving, I promise you’ll get there.
