The world of dog rescue is overflowing with dumped dogs and puppies right now! We are overwhelmed with requests and are struggling to find fosters for dogs we've already committed to take. We need fosters next week for these puppies. Most are older and will just need to stay for the quarantine period and then they can go to an event and be adopted. I know this time of year is busy, but that is why we need fosters more than ever! People dumped these puppies so they didn't have to deal with them around the holidays. The votes are cast, but this mama doesn't care if you voted red or blue. She simply wants a warm place to deliver her babies. She was dumped when her people realized she was pregnant, but she stayed put to wait for them to return. They left her in a place without cover or warmth, and she waited. They didn't spay her and when she got pregnant they dumped her like trash. Luckily someone spotted her and after a great deal of coaxing they got her to their car, but this isn't the end of her story. The people who pulled her from the street cannot bring her inside their house, so she is forced to be outside. She has a dog house, but no dog should deliver babies alone and outdoors. Texas nights get cold, and puppies need a lot of warmth. We don't have room for this mama. We absolutely don't, but I can't leave her outside to deliver her babies, only to watch them freeze to death. So we are going to get her, but we need a foster home for her to land in when she gets to Colorado. Can you be that home? Will you help her?
