Since its pride month I wanna shout out to my grandmother, born in 1929, who never confirmed if she was asexual and/or aromatic, but she had one short relationship that didn't work out, then decided that men and relationships just weren't her thing and went back home to her mother. Then she adopted a little baby girl (my mom) as a single woman and raised her together with my great-grandmother. She never had another relationship, never married and lived her life, being deeply loved by her family.
