Those brave enough to break through the walls of literature and become writers to earn 10 cents a word are either mad or believe in their craft till death do them apart. But the words above in the pic must be repeated until your forehead bleeds. If you are a writer with salt and proper writing skills. I have been at it for ten lifetimes while awake and twenty lifetimes while sound asleep. You go figure ,each of us must contribute to the total sum of a writing career and lift our spirits up and keep on writing until your final hours.But never forget to leave something to the reader to chew on ,and get to the marrow.The substance which will keep him or her coming back for more. Like those old and timeless vampire stories ,if you know what I mean .Yes ,folks the imagination. Some writers will lean on the bottle ,others will attack a mortadella sandwich at 3:00 AM,and others will begin to smoke Cuban Cigars,and sip expensive whiskey, Whatever tickles your fancy. But not just cliches,substance my fellow writers , substance that will stick to your heart and soul . And if you are hitting a block ,one of those insidious blocks made of Antarctic ice ,then take a stroll in the woods , take a cold shower, do whatever it takes to keep the temperature down and never give up .More in coming postings. We all process our reality differently ,here some can only see trash ,while others a treasure trove of useful information. I have met people from all over the world and others see the potential of old papers as wallpaper,while many in third world countries see it as great insulation. In developed nations they look at this pic and see a framed piece of contemporary art. I will be brief the US government stole everything from him , and destroyed him and the biggest thief working in cahoots with the corrupt barons was no other than Edison go figure. But mafias existed then ,and still exist now. Do your research and stay true to your discovery .Even today inventors go missing,and many die in mysterious ways.Because what the government can’t control or bribe ,well ,it kills or neutralize as they say today.The wheels of justice are as corrupted as the wheels of government ,you know this is true ,but millions feel powerless in front of a few.Remember who you elect to represent you in government,because history repeats itself. Yesterday was Tesla ,who will be next? Every writer knows why he chose this occupational hazard,this psychological trap that can only lead to one’s discovery of the self or the slippery slope to a deadly vice ,called alcoholism. But it doesn’t have to end with one’s existence gone ,nope just a temporary existential crisis that will turn your world upside down ,alone and friendless but alive nevertheless. Among the many reasons to become a writer ,mine was an unrequited love, desire and passion that I brought from a past life, she was everything to me ,but ,sooner rather than later, I saw the irrefutable truth and we parted ways,I will spare you of the nuts and bolts mechanically speaking and just like this old man and his faithful companion,I did end up on a field alone . Although I was much younger ,the pain ,the struggle and the lack of experience melted into writing prose.There was some drinking but that was quickly put out like the good fireman that I was back then.Ha! Through mysterious and tacit advice and strange circumstances,I found myself face to face with another of my past lives chapter that turned me into a shaman ,and the connections there were truly remarkable to say the least,but that’s a fact for another chapter. This pic has been pure inspiration and therapy or should I say rather therapeutic. I’m sincerely hoping that my words will inspire others to tour the page and begin their arduous and profound journey to your passion of choice,writing if it suits you. More in coming postings. Going bananas! And why not ?I kept this pic simply because too many times I needed to find my peace and to get a good laugh,no monkeying around.The cheapest fruit in the world these days,full of goodness and packing a punch of potassium. Hermes of Praxiteles (340-330 BC.)

Also known as Hermes and the Infant Dionysus. Found during excavations at the temple of Hera in 1877. The messenger of the gods, charged by Zeus to take the infant Dionysos to the Nymphs, who were to nurse him, rests on the way having thrown his cloak over a tree trunk.

In his raised right arm he was probably holding a bunch of grapes, a symbol associated with the future god of wine. Dionysos reaches out for it.

The sculptor brought out the beauty of the figure by expressing the Olympian serenity of the face of the god and the harmony of his body. The highly polished surface adds to the graceful and soft characteristics of the art of Praxiteles.
