Purple aura quartz
Feverish
Hina opened her eyes slowly with a soft uncomfortable groan. She was instantly greeted by the presents of the skeleton that wore purple and black kneeling next to her, her hand pressing a cool wash cloth to her forehead.
"V-violet?" Hina mumbled softly, surprised to even see the other skeleton. It took so much effort to be able to even speak her name. "Wha-what are you doing?"
“Taking care of you.” Violet mumbled in frustration. She pulled the warm wash cloth from Hina’s forehead and dipped it in a bowl of water, squeezing it out before she replaced it back to her skull. It smelled like a mixture of lavender and chamomile which calmed her. That was until Violet grumpily covered her up with a fleece blanket. “Why didn’t you tell me.” She mumbled.
Hina raised a brow at Violet, a slight jolt of worry coursing through her. “Tell you about what?”
“What, you think I can’t smell it?” Violet snapped venomously. She clenched the wash rag in her fit of rage. “I mean, to any other monster it would seem more like a heat than what we Quartz skeletons do. Why are you doing this?”
Hina narrowed her eyes and looked away. “I’m not.” She mumbled softly. “It’s just a consequence for when I keep my ectobody out. It’s never been like this though. I normally sleep it out...if I can’t find any clients that is...”
Violet gritted her teeth before she stood. “Fine.” Violet growled in a low voice. “If you need energy that badly, I will go and collect some for you to have.”
She lifted up the bowl of water and walked towards the kitchen, closing the door to the room she was in. She paused at the door, glancing back at Hina. “I will not allow you to do such a thing in my sisters body.” She hissed before she shut and locked the door.
Hina turned away from the door, covering her face to hide the tears beading in her eyes.
“I’m sorry I’m like this....”
I lost motivation today, and all I could do was this…
Have a manatale sansby ship. Just holding hands is cute.
Yoga before bed….

Thunder: Bru and Hina
(Bonus, Hina’s flirtatious facade falls apart during nasty storms) @juliet0129
“I dinnae get many thunder storms. It just… rains.” Bru chuckled loving the lightning. He had never seen a storm like this before. It was defiantly fun to him. He turned his gaze to Hina though. Something didn’t feel right. “Are yer okay Hina?”
Hina smiled softly, trying to keep from showing just how she felt. “I’m f-fine.” She stuttered. She tried not to jump so badly when the lightening flashed, or shake when the thunder boomed. Still, she wrapped her arms around herself to try and keep herself from falling apart.
“Hina?” Bru went over to her and then pulled her away from the window. He moved to the couch and sat down, pulling her onto his lap. The last thing he did was wrapped his hoodie around her. “Yer wan to know somethin? I’m scared of mae brother. I dinnae show it but wit he does scares me. Cause wan day a human will come. And the little bastard might kill him. And if my bro kills them instead? He is gonnae be nastier. It’s a nae win situation.” He did this to change the subject but also tell its okay to be scared. “Did yer know wit I love though? I love spending time with ye. Have ye and Violet kinda got friendly? Ye wontknow this but before you came a long she was protective of the other lassie who was in that body. We know right now ye are Hina but it might be hard fer Violet. So if she a bit broody that might be why. Dinnae take it tae heart.”
Hina tried to focus on what Bru was saying. She pulled the jacket around her and leaned into him, trying to relax. She tried her best to not shake, she didn’t want him to see that she could be weak. No, she was going to be the best dancer in the underground. Nothing ever made her nervous or lose focus on her ‘character’.
So, why was the bright flashes of light and loud booming frightening her so much?
She heard Bru talk about his brother, and then Violet. She looked down guiltily. “Violet actually hasn’t been around a whole lot. She avoids me, to the point where it feels like she is afraid of me.” Hina said sadly. She nuzzled into Bru softly, trying to keep from shaking. “I’ve…I’ve never been alone. My sister always kept me company, and the human. But now, there’s no one I know here.”
She gripped onto his jacket tightly. “I don’t even know you, but, something keeps telling me that you’re okay, that I am safe with you.” She hid her face in his chest when lightning flashed yet again.
“Sssh… ye are doing great.” Bru smiled held her close. “Yer brave. It’s such a confusing situation.”
“Hina how aboot we trying finding yer sister wan day soon?” Bru asked not sure if it was the best option but if she did have a sister they had to find her. “Sound good?”
Hina looked up at Bru sheepishly. “You would try and help me find her?” She asked softly, partially in disbelief. “Not a lot of monsters are nice enough to care that much.”
She looked down and traced along the lines of the strap of Bru’s kilt, not even thinking. She was nervous, mostly because of the storm, but mainly because she wasn’t used to someone just offering to help.
“Are you wanting something in return of helping me?” She asked softly, almost as though she were scared to ask.
“Aye. A smile.” Bru chuckled and grinned. “And maybe a friendship. I love the flirting but I want tae know ye. It’s cheeky tae ask fur two things right enough.”
“That smile can be after the storm.” Bru gently rubbed her arms to comfort her. “How aboot you tell me mare aboot yer sister? Yer heard aboot mae brother even though he is an arse. It’s up tae ye though.”
Hina looked up at Bru in confusion. “That’s it?” She asked. “All you really want in return for your help is a smile and friendship, from me?”
She paused then looked down and away from Bru. “I-I’ve never been asked for something so simple before. Normally, my job is to entertain, to help others be happy or satisfied, no matter the request.” She shivered slightly as she spoke. “Usually, its to sing, to dance, a kiss or a hug, or other things, but never friendship.”
She looked up at Bru nervously. “I-I don’t think I know how to be a friend. I only know how to make others happy by giving them what they want. Even if it costs me my own happiness.” She paused and sighed. “My sister, she never approved of the group’s jobs, but she was always there to encourage me, to help me feel better about myself when some requests were a bit….much.”
She hid her face from Bru as tears welled in her eye sockets. “She’s never been gone this long before. I’m beginning to really worry about her.”
“Well those people are missing oot. Getting yer tae that crap.” Bru admitted. “We have people who dae that back hame tae and they are wonderful people. Never look at yerself differently. ”
“See new yer got me. Any bastards ask fer mare just tell mae and I will destroy them.” Bru was disgusted about the favours. Weren’t there rules where she did it?
“Hina. Remember this isn’t yer hoose.” He gently reminded her. “Yer woke up like this cause of mine and Quartz magic. I know it’s hard to believe but we will fix it and find yer sister. I’m not gonna leave yer alone until we find oot what we did.”
Roselyn. Bru felt himself get angry. He was missing her. Was he only doing it cause of that?
Something came to mind though. This was more than a personality. Hina had memories, a job, and a sister. It was like a past life.
Maybe Quartz used a bit of someone’s else’s gem. Maybe Hina was…
“Lemme help yer oot Hina. It’s the least I can dae fer messy things up” Bru had to get that out of his head. It was too sad to think that.
Hina hugged Bru again, nuzzling her face against his chest. “I don’t know who Quartz is, but I know you helped me, and I’m really grateful for that.” She murmured softly. “I only know because your magic is familiar to me.”
Hina sighed. She could feel some sort of sadness from Bru, which she almost immediately wanted to help take away. However, based on what he had asked of her, she knew she couldn’t do much.
She hugged Bru happily. “Okay, so, you’re going to help me find my sister, and in return I am to be your friend.” She said cheerfully. “If that’s the case, I will work hard at being the best friend I can be by helping you find this person you are missing.”
She looked up at him happily. “Does that sound like a good idea?” She asked cautiously.
“Hina…” Bru blushed and then nodded. The fact she is offering was just so nice. He was meant to be making her feel calm and happy. It seems like she was helping him too. “Love that plan. ”
“Oh is mae magic familiar?"He joked and gave a small laugh. "Lookie at this powerful move I can dae.”
Then suddenly bubbles appeared around both of them. They seemed to fizz quietly as they floated.
“Mae bubbles will rule the world! Oh by the way. They taste sweet if ye want wan.”
"They taste sweet?!" Hina asked, her eyes seeming to sparkle some. She reached out to a bubble, curiously poking at it to see if it would pop. "I am curious. The only sweet substance we have is sparkling nectar. It's a very lovely fizzy drink we monsters make. My sister loved to drink them, it's almost all she would ever drink. I thought I would set some out for her, but, I didn't see any here. That's okay though, they are pretty expensive. That's why I-"
Hina cut herself off, realizing that she was about to say too much. She smiled nervously at Bru, hoping he wouldn't notice it. "Could I try one?" She asked softly, almost shyly.

“H-h-h-h-hina?!”
What are hands
I throw GRAYSCALE
*you’ve encountered Violet*
Violet jumped when she saw grayscale. “Shit kid, I didn’t hear you. What are you doing here?” She asked. She seemed skittish, as though she was worried.
Grayscale pushed her ink hair over her shoulder, grinning. “Sorry, didn’t mean to frighten ya.” She chuckled. “I don’t actually know why I’m here. I just let my feet take me wherever they wanna go.”
@juliet0129
Violet glanced away, embarrassed that she had jumped and how she had reacted. Her face was a faint shade of purple as she blushed slightly in embarrassment. “You didn’t frighten me,” she huffed, crossing her arms over her jacket. She glanced away. “I am kinda expecting to see someone. And I know she’s going to be mad at me.”
The skelinkton tilted their head, seeming to be confused. “Someone else?” She gave a shrug. “I won’t pry into business I have nothing to do with.” Grayscale smirked at Violet. “Is that a blush I see~?”
Violet narrowed her eyes as she looked away. "Nope. I don't know what you're talking about." She muttered. She glanced down and sighed softly. "Well, actually, the person I'm waiting on, she had asked me to take care of her sister. Right when she is expected to return, her sister almost dies."
Violet sighed and shook her head. "I should have known better than to leave her alone that day. I could have probably kept her from using her magic then."
"Quartz. Just talk tae me." Bru didn't like seeing him so nervous. He thought of him as a friend now. "Listen. We will find a way. I will give her all mae enegry if it keeps her alive."
Quartz shook his head. “That won’t help. Not with what is happening.” He scanned through the pages hurriedly, trying to find what he was looking for. “If her crystal was cracked, that would help keep her stable until it needed to be repaired, but this…this is different. Violet told me she was behaving differently, claiming her name was something else. If that’s the case, all the work I did just made things worse. I should have never repaired her crystal….”
Disputed the calming emotions he could sense from Bru, his own stress seemed to begin to overwhelm him. It was clear that Quartz didn’t know how to handle negativity in this way.
“Hey listen tae mae.” Bru gently brought Quartz in for a cuddle. He wasn’t getting a full answer with him, they were somewhat empathic weren’t they?
“Calm down. I’m meant tae be the emotional wreck. Look yer need tae be real with mae. I dinnae wan Violet panicking. Is Rosey or… Hina gonnae die? There will be a way to fix things cause Imma sure your Gaster left summin. Lemme help.”
Quartz froze when Bru hugged him. He wasn't used to being the one to get a rather than give a hug. Upon realizing this, he calmed down slightly. "Actually, the reason why I know that Roselyn is at risk of dying is thanks to my 'Gaster'. We called him phantom, because that's what his quartz was."
He sighed and glanced back at his notebook. "According to his notes, when Roselyn's crystal broke, it had a risk of losing its connection with her soul. If that were to happen, a souls that was similar would have been connected to it. That's why Roselyn is calling herself Hina, because that's who she is, the dusty piece of quartz. She's a smokey quartz, Hina."
Chill dude. The heckie going on?
Quartz rubbed his skull nervously. "Okay, well, apparently, when Roselyn's crystal broke in half, one half of her crystal remained connected to her soul like our crystals normally are." He paused and glanced away as sweat appeared on his skull. "Well, the other crystal, it um, changed color because it lost connection to Roselyn's soul and connected to another soul? So.....when I repaired the crystal....I may have...accidentally....fused two souls together....?"
