Pink Zydeco

Squeezebox,

Washboard,

Trombone and Trumpet,

Shuffle over in best pink,

At a bayou bend ce soir,

Alligator,

Crawfish/Mudbug,

Bourbon street

Taste that Tony's heat,

As we delight in my pink Jeep,

Rum pudding,

Step-slide,

Rack a dominos,

Into that jumping bayou beat,

Where lightning bugs crackle,

Chirp of locusts,

Along our steps,

Into the humming bayou blue,

Mysty heat,

Cajun King,

Walking,

Step-slide,

Dressed in pink, I'll greet,

A bayou bend retreat ce soir,

Dance to my creole King,

To a bayou creole beat,

Squeezebox,

Washboard,

Viola,

Trumpet and Trombone,

Then ask the Sax,

Draw the night louder,

C'est la vie, and you know,

At the bayou crazy heat,

With creole blend,

A fun you drink,

While skip the notes band,

Play a rum call request,

Shouting out,

"This is Louisiana!"

Escape,

Fill your blues pink,

Smile,

Laugh,

Quake a dance you know,

And Je T'aime

Opera Concerto No. 0

He writes this opera in silence, Brahms, Chopin, Vivaldi, Rachmaninoff fill his soul endlessly, All the while he writes in silence. The legends play on, Concerto No. 5, the opera yet to be, Becoming more than their scales, adoration for those whom compose no more. Turning notes into ribbons, Maestro's mind is filled..... Violets, sapphires, roses to brass, Dance like tulips for him. Chords dance out his lips, Striking a new untold story, Tenors, Sopranos, curtains all in place While he writes in shades of Bach. This opera takes form, Maestro can see clouds like twilight, Soprano begins her tale, While in silence he writes.
