#peakyblinderstime. Birmingham December 7th 2025
Swagger, style, confidence, a little bit of swearing and no ******* fighting just about sums up last night 😗
A red right hand (covered in snakebite) after the Ditmas run. (T-shirt change for the encore). Owning the stage, magic and mystery. Our three brothers smashed it in Birmingham.
Full of energy and bounce. Another classic evening in the company of greatness. B stage - Where are you now. Chat about Jack Grealish’s amazing calf’s? The north being cold, and the Scot’s being a bit mental. No offence.
Sierra was fabulous I won the bingo card with red being the colour of outfit choice, (ok it was only the shoes, ribbons and trim) great tassel fringing on the bands cowboy shirts. She mixed her set up, played new songs, Ben and Marcus joined her for American dreaming. She joined them on Here.
Pre gig - It rained. We got wet. The entrance door will forever remain a mystery at the top of the car park level 9?! 🤣. Shout out to the security guard who recognised us from the instore in March…. ((We chatted to him at the instore clearly a man with a great memory for faces)).
Birmingham German Christmas markets lining the streets. So very pretty and anyone in the market for a swish cuckoo clock it’s the place to be. A beautiful walk along the canals, lots of Black Sabbath and Peaky murals over the city. What a city, I heart Birmingham xx
I’ve eaten my own body weight in healthy snacks and it’s only Monday. Looking forward to a square meal. What no toast on the late night menu card!! (She lied about the late night menu being a thing even!!!)
Leeds First Direct Arena 30th November 2025
In the hunt for an independent coffee shop we stumbled across a stunning Victorian shopping arcade on the walk to the venue. If you were in the market for high end suits, handbags and beautiful chocolates (who isn’t when it comes to chocolates 😙) this was the place to be. Sadly a distinct lack of coffee. Costas all the way!
It was a cold queue but at least no rain. Chatted away to mum and daughter combo who loved a bit of country, sporting a classy cowboy hat that I took rather a fancy to.
Once inside we met Belle! The hours soon passed until showtime with Sierra.
What a stage outfit tonight. She is so mesmerizing. You can’t take your eyes off her. She held the crowd from the first note. Sadly no floral display tonight 😆.
The lads;
No actual b stage but mixed it up by singing Here with Sierra. Beautiful.
Timshel around the single mic earlier on in the set. Holland Road and white blank page. What a treat. A successful Ditmas run with no red wine incident. A bit of stage banter with someone in the crowd who remembers March as her birthday month and not the album release tour ! Several “Yorkshire” hecklers from the crowd. It was great fun gig. I was indeed slightly tired so perhaps less bounce than Newcastle but nevertheless a great time.
Newcastle Utilita Arena. 28th November 2025
Oh my gosh what a city. It’s full of magic (and bridges)
Arriving in the wee small hours of the morning, with Friday night revellers still making their way home. We knew immediately Newcastle would deliver.
After a 3 hr Power Nap at the hotel we were ready to do the tourist route. Man it was much hillier than I had expected! Castles, Cathedrals, canals (can I get away with canals 😗) the stunning river tyne with its glorious bridges. The architecture reminded me a little of Glasgow. Loved Newcastle and all it has to offer.
We ticked tourism off the list prior to the heavens opening. And boy did they open. It was biblical for a while. This brought another dimension to the city. Watching the twinkly lights of the continuous traffic going over the bridge at the Venue even in the foggy damp felt special.
Sierra Ferrell. Could here the sound check and it sounded promising. What a feast for the eyes and ears. Loved the floral display added to the stage. A florists delight. All the band dressed to impress. She has a beautiful voice and such stage presence. Loved her set. It warmed the soul after a very cold few hours inside and outside the arena! They breed the audience tough up north!! 🥶
Showtime. Synopsis: I LOVED IT! One continuous bounce to another. The lads seemed in good shape. Some Football chat from Marcus - turns out Alan Shearer was in the crowd.
A beautiful b stage cover with Sierra , if I needed you. Malibu back on the setlist ❤️. Banger after banger. Truth was the first time we felt hot for 3 hrs 🤣 personal thanks to those pyros. Ditmas run was messy, Marcus returns to the stage wearing what turned out to be a pint of red wine all over the crisp white T-shirt. “Probably a Londoner” arena starts to boooh! It is panto season. Acoustic Timshel around the one mic on a Saturday night in Newcastle was a brave move but was classy. What a joy. It never gets old. Unlike my knees 🤣🤣🤣🙌. I thank you Newcastle. ❤️🥶🙌
Paris undercover… or skip to photos😗
Tour tales from Gare Du Nord.
With 60 mins to spare until the Eurostar pulls out of Paris what better way to waste away the hour than reminisce about the past 36 hrs in Paris.
The need to tourism as well as tour - the metro took us to Notre Dame where we met up for a wander with Sarah Langenbach Wilson.
Deep into reconstruction since the fire of 2019 Notre Dame is looking amazing. A circuit of the cathedral and general wonderment of how did they do that. The most challenging part of the adventure was topping up the metro travel card!! With three great minds thrown at it and the help of some locals the machine finally took our money.
We ate like locals on for Friday’s night, supper at the brasserie (steak and fries for anyone who was asking) medium steak perhaps I should have gone rare? I’m sorry to say …. Due to time constraints on Friday our hands were forced …. Anyone for a Maccy D!!! So sorry, apologies to all of those I have offended 😆.
The venue Adidas Arena is out of the main city but easily accessible once again via the metro. We are now riding it with ease 🤪. A delightful pleasant surprise to see Kristen and Heather at the venue. Also a great joy to see Seth Queler again whom we met at all points east back in 2019!
The Barr Brothers opened the evening. Followed by the joy that is The Vaccines . Having followed and loved The Vaccines since they played the same Hyde Park show as Mumford (supporting Arcade Fire in 2011) the allure to see both Mumford and The Vaccines on the same evening was too much to say no to hence a double win.
They are a live force to be reckoned with. They bring the energy. A perfect and strong 40 mins set. If you wanna come back it’s alright…… Whomever booked them and got the ink dry on the paper I thank you. *MM
It was lovely to see and meet some fellow Vaccines fans during the day. Although I felt pension age when told that in 2011 one lovely chap was only 11!! 🤣😆🤪.
Showtime. Mumford. Now 2 hrs of joy. Don’t hate me, but I have never really been into Hopeless wander….. until last night! Last night It was quite frankly amazing. The pace, power and passion. Right up there. Lots of French chat from Marcus. GCSE French classes for the win! Delta was back on the setlist. Long may it remain. Listening to Here and Conversations with my son brought a tear of joy to the eyes. Quite something.
The mix between old and new blends perfectly as does the pace of the show. Set list genius - Time to recover from all the action - Main stage, b stage, single mic, pyros, a disco ball and a kick drum rise and fall. The lowered halo of lights really making it feel an imitate show at the end of the evening during conversations.
Didn’t see any merch and I’m not sure my poster will yet make it home in one piece ! It will certainly have character!! The evening was superb.
Spent this morning touristing around Paris. Eiffel Tower✅ Champs Élysées ✅ acquired the I crossed the road and survived badge at the Arc de Triomphe ✅
Louis Vuitton ✅ from the outside 😙. McDonalds ✅✅✅. 20,000 steps and counting.
Now back in good old Blighty waiting for the coach home. Roll on the UK leg. Xx
Liverpool Radio 1 Big Weekend Sefton Park 25th May 2025
Birthday bonanza weekend. Sam Fender and Mumford & Sons what a treat. Plus a bonus surprise set from Ed Sheeran. Liverpool did not disappoint. Liverpool winners parade hiked the hotel prices up as well as a bank holiday weekend. Ormskirk for the win.
A stonking 60 mins set. Including Truth which was worth the trip alone. A great teaser for the winter tour.
Pryzm 3.4.25

Banquet records- the last hurrah …. For now
3rd April 2025
Manchester to Brum! 3am pitstop anyone!! 30p to wee! Cash only.
Must have slept! She said questioning the answer yes!! Excellent ride. Arrival into London Victoria . Pastry and hot chocolate consumed and over to Kingston. It was too easy not to!!
Another sunny day what more can you ask for. Kingston doesn’t change. My third visit for Mumford related activities. No Wilco anymore rip to that shop.
A spot of wandering to wake up and stay warm and back to base camp. A healthy pret “wonder shake” to keep me alive and not just full of sugar. The day was mixed emotions. A show today, but my last show today 😔.
I loved how the Pryzm staff or banquet records staff walked us all into the venue. Stressing no running and “any piss takers would be removed”. This sadly needed to be said and stated as despite all the good will, moves would be made! Unbelievable!!
A great last show. The venue, now with added drop down screens is just so compact and yet not squished. Old youthful Memories for the lads. A thankful Ben for Agora and community. 🥰. A great up close and personal show. Marcus had a big fan above his head, not “literally”. Caroline was a dream . My obsession with Surrender continues. Sad fair wells. My train journey home was thankfully quick and fleeting. Fulled on quavers, Lucazade and a heart full of memories. My car was still where I left it and with 4 wheels. “you’ll see them again “. Good times. May the PGD be fleeting. X x
Thank you to all that took part in our very own race across the Uk. I couldn’t have got through without the love and support of the daily entertainment systems x
Manchester . April 2nd . Aviva Studio Amazon city sessions
Manchester Amazon City Sessions 2.4.25
Bring me sunshine! ☀️
What a lovely day in the sun. Perfect for a bit of last minute sunbathing!
Excellent train journey down to Manchester. You know when it works you really can’t knock the travel system of the uk!!
Aviva Studio - not too far away from Salford Quays the media area of Manchester. #localknowledge thanks Jen for informing me that Coronation Street the famous cobbles aka Granda Studios were just around the corner. Aviva studio based in the grounds of the old Granada studios. It’s a new complex only open since 2023.
Aviva Studios delivers dance, theatre, music, visual arts, exhibitions, many premieres.
Lovely freshly prepared chicken meal consumed at the local restaurant. Excellent service. The lovely chap serving us was also going to the show! Let’s hope he had as much fun a we did!! Welcoming the lads into his day.
Later, queuing under the eves of the building it turned into a wind tunnel! We all kept ourselves entertained by being in a queue, in a queue! US tickets went on sale and I do love a queue! The walking man of doom walked too slowly sadly for me to help anyone! Let’s take a moment to reflect on #five the reunion tour we knew all the hits and more!! Slam dunk that funk indeed. And also #slenderpeoplefitthroughgaps
Lovely “what the duck pizza “from the venue.
Very smart building and studio. Excellent loo facilities!
The room where the recording was to take place “the hall” was standing and seated. Filming crew inside ready for the big live moment! 8pm inside 9pm showtime!!
What a show!! Lots of whooping and bouncing. I have to say the friction burn (from my phone)(being in my pocket)in three places on my thigh has now only left a scar vs burnt flesh… surely that’s the sign of a great show!! Great to see the brass section and full drum back set up.
We were told by Marcus to forget it was being filmed ignore the cameras “like they were” !
During Lover of the light the front row hardcore felt so bad for Marcus as he clearly forgot the lyrics and we enjoyed a drum 🥁 jamming session. With smirks and smiles from Ben and Ted to the uninitiated “I think they got away with it”
Can’t believe how 60 mins can go by so quickly. It was much more of a formal show tonight vs the playful let’s all feck around we had gotten use to these last few days. Many happy memories made. A special evening. Can’t wait to watch it again some day soon. Even if I do come off looking a bit of an idiot along the front!!
Thanks you Jen for the lift to the coach station. The overnight coach waits for no one. Xxx

Liverpool 1.4.25
The Dome Grand central hall
Blessed with sunshine! Liverpool was looking lovely as ever. Lovely chance encounter with Matt Menefee getting off the train!! 🚂
Eating a round of McNuggets on the sunny street. Life made.
Great venue. Once a church now an old music hall, With grand scale organ behind the stage area a grade ii listed building. A room neither myself or the band had been to before but it was a real vibe there.
A really fun set. There was lots of bounce in the room. Both sets went down a storm. Very hot inside! Favourite of the evening first play of Surrender live, currently on repeat in my memory and mind. What a treat.
Let’s not forget that Caroline moment…. Or should I say “let’s never talk of that Caroline moment ever again” 😘. 👊 funny. 🤣.
