Streets. Canals. Buildings. Green spaces. In some places, edges and cracks are interrupting the miniature edition of the deserted city. A voice confronts us with the shortcomings and proposes solutions. In comparison to this is the practical implementation in the form of new construction and reconstruction measures. The film Pattern Language deals with questions of urban development on the basis of current construction projects in the city of Berlin.

Different areas of a building are presented in various shots without comment. Several functional properties appear to be combined in this complex. So it is a storage location, maximum security space and prestigious showroom in one. The material was shot in the 2014 built Freeport Luxembourg. The bonded warehouse is a modern center for the storage, handling and the trade of valuables.
