@mangoadult
the beatles wouldnt even fucking exist if big time rush hadnt paved the path for them so shut the fuck up
Do you even…?
Know the history of music?
The fuck?
yeah music was invented in 2009 by Big Time Rush
…I honestly can’t tell if your being sarcastic, or you really are this stupid.
I seriously hope it’s sarcasm
i being 100% serious my guy
The Beatles are older than big time rush
well yeah but that doesnt change the fact that the beetles didnt start making music until after BTR released their hit album Elevate and then the beetles decided to make music, only after they got permission from Kanye West
One of The Beatles died before BTR made music. AND THEIR CARRER ENDED IN 1970
yeah ur right the Bettles careers ended before it even began. thats how bad theyre music is.
The Beatles are the most revolutionary bands of all time. They had many fans when they first made music, and still do today. If it weren’t for them, BTR would not exist. And neither would many other pop and rock bands
I think you have it mixed up, it should be the other way around
besides:
That is easily photoshopped and also easily to disprove. Also, I’m mostly just trying to give you a lesson on HISTORY and how years work.
Beatles: 1960-1970 A.K.A. Before 2009
BTR: 2009-2013 A.K.A. AFTER THE BEATLES
Yeah the Beatles werent around until the year 1960 A.B.T.R. (After Big Time Rush)
That-that’s not a thing
of course it is, all years are either BBTR (before big time rush) or ABTR (after big time rush)
hey you wanna come over to my house after school? we can stand directly across from eachother and do this
why cast europeans to play latinxs when you could
not do that
i have been watching ajin lately, and i was mostly compelled to get thru the first season by the weird three-d-ish art. it’s kind of hard to see in just a flat image. anyways:!
so the first season was kind of good, but also kind of meh. a lot of establishing what everything is (but not even). i think Kei is a cool character in so much he’s not very typical; in the first season he’s actually kind of flat. first season only feels redeemable when you’re okay with some exposition.
SECOND SEASON THO:
i’m only on episode 4. *but* it’s starting to pick up a lot. there’s also some ghost in the shell vibes, but with “powers.” i think the terrorist vs. gov’t dynamic is really interesting in settings devoid of racism. the terrorists, in these fictionalized situations and sometimes in real life, are operating with higher moral ground; in this case, not wanting to be used as test subjects, and demanding basic rights. for ajin, this becomes more compelling because Kei, despite no moral leanings, joins the side that would have him held prisoner because the terrorists have made a life of laying low impossible. Kei’s development as it’s tied up in this is also pretty interesting because as the bloodshed continues he becomes more conscious of other people’s feelings. i’m not sure if there’s a right place for this series to go(?) it seems like the terrorists will lose, but then what happens to ajin rights. and Kei, actually. because he doesn’t exist outside of this fugitive-turned-fighter, i wonder how he’ll develop change outside. i also don’t know if there’s a manga/light novel, or even if it’s going to go beyond season 2
i have been thinking about all this for a while, lmao.
omg i forgot that it feels much safer to talk about anime here
i’m back lmao
bye y’all
The Half Hour S05E02 – Ramon Rivas II

this is exactly the kinda shit i was talking about
Joiri Minaya #dominicanwomengooglesearch (2016) digital print on sintra and fabric collage Wave Hill Sunroom Project Space, Bronx, NY *All photos by Stefan Hagen
#dominicanwomengooglesearch features cutout images of body parts with stylized tropical-patterned fabrics collaged on their verso. The images come from a Google search for “Dominican women,“ resulting in representations that are exotic and obedient to foreign fantasies, yet seemingly assertive and self-confident.
The poor resolution, highly accessible images found online become abstracted in the process of being isolated, enlarged to human scale, pixelated, printed on Sintra board and suspended in the gallery space. Contextualized at Wave Hill’s Sun Porch, the installation evokes the history of exploring, collecting, classifying, and dissecting related to tropical greenhouses. With its fragmented and ever-changing juxtaposition of images, patterns and landscape #dominicanwomengooglesearch destabilizes historic and contemporary representations of an imagined tropical identity.
