Man legs are one of the most beautiful things on this earth. One would think that women (and some men, we don't generalize) appreciate them for their natural elegance. This however, is not the case. There are very few, if any, women who actually enjoy man legs. This tumblr exists in order to change that. We will work endlessly to change the prejudices that have so long hindered the progress of man legs!

I recently saw this article on buzzfeed with pictures of guys wearing shorts in the snow. The article made fun of these men and suggested that they were crazy. The author of this article clearly does not understand the pride that these men have in their legs nor the pain that they suffer when they are forced to hide them for months at a time. For these brave men the pride and joy they get from sharing their legs with the world far outways the pain and cold of the snow. These are brave, brave men who chose to pride over comfort. They understand that the manlegs movement cannot be halted when the weather gets weary, it must go on despite all hardship. Progress cannot be stopped by howling winds or mountains of snow, nay manlegs must be admired in all weather. So this holiday season pour out some eggnog for these fine fellows who brave the cold of winter to show off their finely crafted legs!

Jeremy Clarkson is best known as host of Top Gear, a UK based car show. He has often described his youth as a generally reckless, rebellious time. This photo portrays a young Clarkson showing the world that he gives zero fucks by showing off as much of his legs as he possibly can. Its heartwarming to see that the fight for manlegs has gone on for so long and by such notable people.

Mario Gotze. The World Cup ended last Sunday with a German victory thanks to this young man. His miraculous legs scored the extra-time goal which made Germany world champions. The whole world watched as this man proved which country has the greatest legs on Earth. His legs will be worshiped in Germany for years to come for all of the glory they have brought with them.

The World Cup is well under way and we've seen some great legs at work. Many great men and twice as many great legs has gone to work for their country on soccer's greatest stage. James Rodriguez has shown the world that he has some truly exceptional legs. At the young age of 22 he is the leading scorer so far. He magnificent thighs helped propel Columbia into the round of 16 where they lost to Brazil today. Unfortunately we will have to wait until 2018 to see his illustrious legs shine again but in the meantime we can enjoy watching some other fantastic legs are the tournament continues.

Short shorts rise in popularity as men free their knees - The Boston Globe

A friend of mine sent me the link to this article the other day. It talks about the downfall of short shorts and the probable rise of short shorts this summer. I would love to see more men showing thigh this summer and it is really up to us to make that happen. This article talks about J. Crew, L.L. Bean and other companies with great options this summer be sure to check them out.

As I watch the NBA playoffs I can't help but wonder "when did their shorts get so long." Nowadays basketball players wear shorts that hang well below their knees  and show very little leg at all. This is a drastic change from basketball shorts of old. Lets compare the 1992 Olympic "Dream Team" to the 2012 Olympic team. Both teams had some truly legendary players and both teams crushed their competition the one thing that differed the most was their uniforms. The 1992 team showed quite a lot of thigh as their shorts rested about halfway down their quad. Fast forward 20 years and you see shorts that don't even expose their knees.  So what happened over that 20 year span? Did these incredible athletes suddenly become ashamed of their legs? While we don't know their exact motives we do know that we are missing out on some great leg viewing opportunities. Who wouldn't want to see Lebron James' quads work as he sprints up the court and dunks? Today's HD TV's would make this experience even better, but unfortunately current fashion trends prevent us from viewing these marvels in action. This generation is missing out on these glories manlegs and receiving a bad message from their role models. They see men hiding away their legs and feel the need to do the same. It is a true tragedy and I implore NBA players to start wearing shorter shorts.

First off I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts lately. Life has been busy and the serious lack of man legs we all have to go through in winter have kept me away from the blog. Now that winter is finally drawing to a close we can begin to get excited for warm weather and the ability to wear shorts which comes with that weather. So men put those pants away and break out all of your shorts and show those legs off. This man is wearing a great pair of shorts which show plenty of leg. Most guys are afraid to wear shorts this short but fear not, if you have nice legs to show off do so. Don't let societies judgement influence your fashion choices. This guy has some nice and subtly toned legs which we wouldn't get to see if he were wearing baggy cargo shorts. So go out and buy yourself a nice pair of 7" shorts (or 5" if you dare) and celebrate the coming of spring!

Sadness comes over me as we continue into the heart of winter and are forced to cover our manlegs due to the bitter cold. But even in the darkest of winter months there remains hope. While killing time on facebook I saw this picture on my news feed reminding me of warmer, happier times. I see this man showing off his gorgeous legs in the warm summer months when we can do this. So despair not brothers, we must remember these happier, freer times in order to make it through these cold months without manlegs.

Glenn Howerton, better known as Dennis Reynolds from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is one hell of a man. In the show he is a rather vain man and for good reason. Just take a gander at these manlegs. Here we can see the nice tone and girth of his very masculine legs. In this particular episode he is recommending short shorts for the freedom they give your legs. They clearly allow a lot of movement which is important for any fit man. More importantly they show off his incredible legs, those things should never be hidden behind pants. Way to go Dennis!

A little north of Boston lies a town which has drastically changed due to the influence of man legs. This is the town in which the movement was started 10 months ago. Since then myself and many of the most passionate originators of this movement have moved leaving a void. I am proud to say that this void has not remained empty. Many of the younger members of the community have stepped up and can be seen hear proudly displaying their manlegs. I'm proud that these men also take pride in their legs and aren't afraid to show them off. Way to keep going strong men!

Progress

I am pleased to say that in the 7 months since our initiation we have made some head way in the struggle for leg equality. There have been many signs of this. First if you look down you will see two photos submitted by a reader. This man is not afraid to show off his legs and having never met him before I am very proud of him for his audacity. Every mind that we change is a step closer to a cultural shift in the appreciation of man legs. The second indicator is one of a statistical nature. We have had over 3000 unique visitors from over 100 countries and 48 states. This is a vast improvement over the initial views which were almost exclusively people from my home town. These are all great signs that our message is spreading. I encourage you all to keep up the good work by telling friends, showing off those legs, and spreading the message by whatever means you think will help.

I'm a 28 year old reader of yours. These are my man legs, and I'm sure as hell not afraid to help end the discrimination! I think it's so unfair how we have to wear long pants at semi formal events, even when it's the middle of summer, when women can wear skirts. So I'm sending in a few pictures of my legs to maybe help inspire other guys!
