When my sister asked what I wanted for my birthday, I, of course, answered books. Her responses were as follows:

Can you give me something else bc I really don’t wanna contribute to that bs

What’s something that is not a fucking book

I want a place to sleep when I’m home for the summer. Anymore books and I’ll be in the barn

So, books were out of the question. Then I saw that commissions were opening up soon for one of my favorite artists. I asked my sister if she’d get me one and she said YES.

Now, thanks to my sister and the stunning, lovely, wonderful work of @projectnelm, this Beauty and the Beast piece is mine. And I LOVE IT. Beauty and the Beast is basically my favorite movie, and when I was but a wee babe I’d watch it over and over, make others watch it with me, and put the ending on rewind and cry cry cry. So it–and this–means a lot to me.
