Ki sisters

I loved every second of this manwha it’s so funny the author knows his meme game. I was thrown away with the WAP reference omg lmao. The art style itself is distinct and funny even the most random panel made me laugh so much ITS SUCH A refreshing and nonsensically funny Manwha aaa Undoubtedly Jangnyeo and Jaerim are the funniest without even trying considering it has one of those comically amnesiac plot.

Junhui is cuteee and all but I actually liked Seho a bit more lmao his transformation just thew me off hes hot. But i felt so bad for him that he got such a messy(?) ending WHY DID HE GET THROWN TO the US LMAO it was so funny but what? Why do we never see him get in touch back with Jenny and his childhood friend Junhui??? Pls my boy Seho. By end I also so wanted to see more into Ki sisters’ life and Junhui’s brothers too LIKE IDK MAN I wanted jangnyeo to be with jangnam hahah junhui’s family is so extra i died reading all the Chapters😭

OMG OMG and queen Lola? Bro whatttt QUEEN NEVER CRY. idk why I just feel like Queen Lola definitely says the n-word, OMG BAD TAKE, but her personality just makes it feel like that. My fav part of the story was afterword WHY is the author such a nonchalantly funny King, even his fashion sense is so fire(i mean there are so many others with much better tooo) it’s definitely something I WANNa wear.

what a journey, although I’d say it was just another average story, it was still really close to my heart because I begin reading it 3 years ago in Korean when only a couple chapter were up and idk if it’s only a thing to me, but it felt very profound to me because I was reading it in Korean, the dialogues felt heavy. I caught up to it today because i came across it on English webtoon by sheer coincidence.

Besides being averagely written, it really had a very interesting plot. Both brother and sister falling for the same girl I have to say is such a fresh plot and I would dare say that the characters are also written in a very non-toxic way. The way Bin sees Seong makes my heart tingly, I’d lie if I said I did not want them to end up together. Despite giving communication gaps for a couple of chapters, I loved it that the author did not miss addressing them. Theres almost no miscommunication. Seong Ryu and his sister Bin are really written well I’m not gonna lie, obviously there’s an inferiority complex that he held at the start and bin too was struggling with finding herself, the author dealt with it well without it turning messy.

Yeong in also such a calm character, I loved reading her and I wish I have such people in my life too. A thing that didn’t sit a bit right with me was the fact that she was okay letting him hide the fact that they are together from other to the point that she defended him when the other find out, babyyyyy DONT let a man do that to you! The story had an open ending so idk what to even say about that lmao, like it’s nice that they waited for each other for 3 years but them getting back together and the story ending was very abrupt for me. We don’t get anything. Nothing about bin and her life in America or about the main couple that we FUCKING READ 80 chapters for lmao.

Not your typical reincarnation story

bro id say, it’s a little over mid. Big situations, like when Edith gets blamed for smuggling information and when Rhyse gets poisoned and heck even the one where Eden got kidnapped, Bitch they don’t even get solved, like what? It’s such a big part of the story and it just gets over with bit of an investigation off the screen and deciding to keep Edith under house arrest. Wdym bro? But ig they didn’t investigate Rhys’s enough because she is their daughter or stuff or maybe im forgetting something.

Apart, the plot is pretty mid besides the fact that for once we get to see the struggles of OG characters within the story because of the author’s choice to just give protagonist a good character development. No one wants to get abused just because the author wrote so and on top of that while the author is alive in the story.

I also liked the fresh idea of the characters wanting to change their lives and escaping to some other world. I very much liked the OG Rhyse’s character, too bad she died at the end. But good for her to leave with the OG Edith. I also very much liked the ML Killian so much. BROO in a household where your wife is all alone after marriage, you HAVE to stand by her as her husband. He is genuinely one of the male characters I can’t believe I liked a lot. He stands up for her so much even besides all the fingers at her. It’s fucking lovely. A man HAS to stand with their wife no matter what. And he can take his own stand it’s even more amazing. He loves his babe so much he even started going against the plotline and even understood the real incarnation thingy what an amazing man. I liked this take where the mL gets to know that he’s a part of a story written and controlled by someone because in so many stories even with the characters having a really good bond, I have always wondered why the FL can’t tell the mL about their reincarnation lol

From Korean forums I got to know that the original plotline of the story goes on with Rhyse winning everything over and marrying cliff while Edith Killian go on to live their happy lives in the territory he was given. Where they let go off the past, but later Rhyse is made to pay for her sins when cliff gets to know her real self(idk how) AND I DONT EVEN know what to say to this tbh.

My beloved oppressor

The original novel art is sooo tea

Omfg?? what a ride. What the hell, this is so well written I’m literally shaking. There’s genuinely not a single character I can say I hate, okay maybe that one military guy with the orange hair from Franze (I forgot his name). Every character is portrayed so well, so humanely. Unlike most manhwa, where side characters are usually written off with some bullshit personality, this actually treats them as people. You get to see even the side characters as human beings instead of just tools for someone else’s character development, and that’s insane. Not a single character here feels like they weren’t deeply thought through before being illustrated.

I haven’t been this impressed by a manwha in so long. Smooth and beautiful pacing, even for once I never felt that the story was getting rushed. Neither Annette nor Heiner were written in a way that you could come to hate them. For ONCE I found such a genuinely fresh Fl, I lost my mind. So good. That piano musical at the last chapter for real was my last straw because even though I was already crying like a baby, I started bawling LIKE WTF? You can hate me for saying this but as much as I hated Heiner at the start, I understood him later. It was his fault for ever putting Annette at such a pedestal all his life despite not even knowing her. At least he realised his mistake and paid for it😭(by being his own wife’s situationship omg no JOKING)

also also, i have this habit of skipping dialogues sometimes(sorry bro) even in very good written Manwhas when the plotline gets a little boring or cliche. BUT ISTG I DIDNT skip a single dialogue here, that’s how hooked i was. I was reading it at 12 and it’s like 5:09 right now. Loved every second of it. Good redemption arc, didn’t feel forced at all. Great reconciliation, never felt that the fl was being pushed because of the author’s motives. Themes of depression and self harm are written so delicately and not thrown around as mere story advancers. I like the story’s take on such sensitive topics and I liked it more how they proceeded with it. Nothing in the story feels forced or rushed.

A very good, I wouldn’t say great, piece of work I’ve read in a while. Deep, tragic and sad. I say we love a yandere if this was it. It has a very catchy plot right from the first chapter and keeps you hooked without even putting too much effort. Art is LOVELY. Though I did feel that we could feel more attached to the characters if we had gotten more chapters. But I’m still surprised how in depth the character development and connection felt despite the Manwha having 15 chapters. GOOD! hyeri queen. Also the fact that the author was advised not to draw such tragic story in the straight genre just shows how bl fetishising femcles are always frying my brain up. This one feels like a gem. It’s true you don’t find stuff like this in straight manwha.

Ah also smut scenes are nice too ig lol story was too good to give them too much attention past a couple of chapters😭

The cover art is so sexy so hot that’s what made me read it waaaaa

this time I’m not even exaggerating, I cried so much, I started crying when I was on ch16 and I realized it’s ending on ch18. I fucking love when a manwha has no miscommunication whatsoever, it becomes sooo good to read it. This became one of my favoritest manga ever after Veil immediately. I love Haruhi so so much, never seen a character written this purely.

Few of the lines that Ossan said genuinely made me cry, like how on their wedding day he said “I’ll stop smoking” because her father told him how he’s afraid he’d die earlier than Haruhi, omg please god I loved it so much. And the line on the last chapter where he said “do you wanna live together for the rest of my life” instead of “live together for the rest of our lives” this fucking broke my heart omg😭😭HES OLDER AND HES GONNA DIE EALIER AND OBV HE CANT BE WITH HER FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. somebody just kill me omg.

Ossan is such a fucking great guy please I want him. This story is so good because it never put any creepy or fetish-y emphasis on age gap trope. I’m so sappy right now. I loved this manga with all of my heart. I love haruhi’s dad, Ryuji, too.

I gave it a thought and the only thing that Irked me, and didn’t even get addressed well in the story was the fact that Ossan😭a grown ass man fooled her that he was drunk and married her so that he could get free housing lmao bro wth? You realise u lowkey ruined her life that way. Could this be considered grooming? Lmao

I fucking finished this one like 3 years later😭wtf. First of all PEDOBAIT wth, the kings like 20 or 21 AND SHES 14-15ish bro bye. this story from the start had that pedo vibes ngl on top of that had “I’ll keep her and her too” vibes with Nina and the saintess. The story development is pretty meh considering its genre, even the end is so goddamn forced. Ch80, she’s deciding to leave it all and start a new life and ch92 she’s ready to marry the king bro what? ALSO THE misunderstanding that, the king saved her from drowning himself which she thinks he chose to save the saintess instead, never GETS ADDRESSED??? and still we immediately see an happy ending WHAT?? I’m ngl from the start it had pretty unsettling vibes lmao. Dunno man finished this one regardless after a couple of years becoz I saw a reel and got remembered that I have this one in drafts. But I would still say that I lowkey love a possessive ml eh but the way he talks about Nina is so crazyy and predatory who wrote this in their right mind? I picked up the 2nd male lead after the ending/ 엔딩 후 서브남을 주웠다

I'm literally crying, such a sweet fucking story omg. Also one of the stories that i have been following for a while but couldn't finish. This story kept me up because of its rather fresh plotline back then. The characters are written very well, Richt(리히트)and Peony had such an amazing bond it felt very close to heart. I actually cried when he chose Peony over royal empress, not caring if he committed a crime. I love you my Tsundere Richt. Also even though the story is not pg19 we all know what type is Richt when he grabbed her boobs while kissing for the first time lmaoo. Somewhere it did feel like the story was getting dragged in the end because for me, it should have just ended when Richt brought the ice flower and proposed to her and we could have gotten an epilogue type story to see their kids. But okay, I'm not disappointed. On the other hand what actually made me very giddy was the side couple, Marie and Andy. OMG THAT COUPLE ACTUALLY KEPT ME ROOTING. when Andy finally blushed at their scene on the rooftop when Marie had cut her hair for him. OMG MY SOUL LEFT MY BODY TO CELEBRATE. I absolutely loved how he described how he liked her personality even though she was not the "typical feminine girly" and especially when he smoothly asked her out to marry her. WHAT THE FUCK. WE ALL DESERVE AND ANDY AND RICHT IN OUR LIFE, DONT WE? Straight up my Top 10 fictional men i would date without a second thought.

Okay so now I’ve glazed over the mL, hot take, I just think that the fl doesn’t know how to respect personal space. It’s very cliche and her arrival in his life isn’t very much of a good timing either. idk why she always got to do so much lmao. She just didn’t care if he said no or not babe he’s a real person in the story as least for now that you’re in it😭why treat him like a mere character. Tbh she doesn’t seem to be caring about anyone but herself at the starting like what??? Creepy vibes

Wow just wow can't believe that a story this pure and sweet and with absolutely no lack of communication problem can be written. I hope the writer of this story lives long. I strive to read stories like this. Rowoon is such a cute guy, and his character was also written very well. Loved him so much. Man easily went on my list of top 10fictional men i would date without a second thought. Doha OMG IS SUCH GREAT FL they don't make them like her a lot. Not cringe no pick-me syndrome, no naive girls who don't know how the world works..just a mature 17 year old who acts her age(this sounds suspicious wth😭)Her character is so nice and readable that i felt like i could cry. Her and Rowoon's character development is written so nicely 10/10. Their relationship was also very cute and so healthy and had such great communication thing going on. GOAT oh god I loved it I loved it I loved it. I love this illustrator so much The way i was just scrolling through first few chapters just because it was a funny light read and then BOOM suddenly the whole plotline took a total 180° turn(i sometimes don’t read summaries like a psychopath) Everything was just fucking perfect in story telling but my wish of seeing Juliet getting a love interest was never made possible noooㅜㅜalso man I loved Astaroth and shushi's character so so so much jsjsjjdjkss. Every aspect of the story was so perfectly blended into one. The humor, mystery, fight scenes omg. I need to kiss Astaroth<3 because daddy. Haven’t laughed this much in a while

oh god this kept me hooked till the fucking end! It was so intriguing that i even searched the whole internet and read raws lmao. The story is really complex and the writer dealt with it well. The aspect of hardships in marriage is so fucking well depicted. The two faces of the coin where both of the partners suffer and sacrifice their lives or others. It literally made me cry! Especially loved it when the ml was shown even chugging down multiple bottles of alcohol just to earn money for his family and on the same side fl goes through her own mental pressure of being a housewife and a mom. It nagged at my heart so badly. They both were bad for eachother, too naive and young to be parents and yet they learned and grew for each other. Ngl the part when ml lost his memory messed with me so bad i was about to fucking cry!! But one thing that i kept realising during the first many chapters was: the heights people go just for the sake of their kids is so so overwhelming. The constant mental imbalance because they couldn't see their son was also so well written. I would very definitely give it a solid 7/10. Because idk man I hated how the man just left his wife to go fuck some other woman the moment they went back in time like bro what the fuck? Sometimes I would even feel that the dialogue and scenes were not that well addressed and written. But We have to realise that our life doesn't only revolve around us when we also have loved ones to look after. Communication is the key, ALWAYS.

Fuck this was one hell of a ride ngl. I'm just gonna say, even though the red head girl had her own trauma she still acted bad and i kinda hate her for it. Doheei literally “fixed” the red head's entire fucking marriage, since the guy was thinking of divorcing her, but all the og red head did for Doheei was to teach her husband about sex, which he could have learned even with Doheei, because he was such a fucking sweet guy and i don't really think that from his side their was any communication issues too. I loved his character the most, omg man was so so so sweet. Want a man like himㅜㅜ. If this story was about making people appreciate their marriage/ partner. i don't think the deal was fair between both the girls. Doheei was at the shorter end of the stick ig.
