His eyes made blue my favorite color for awhile. I remember I used to just gaze into them, and he’d look back at me. it was mesmerizing. It was magical. It was the way they wrote it’d be in fairytales. My future was always uncertain, but when i stared into his soul like that, I could see everything falling perfectly into place with him. I could imagine a life. But it’s been six months, and I’ve started to forget the shade of blue his eyes were. I don’t remember if his hands were rough or soft. I can’t recall if he preferred pens or pencils, or whether he liked rain over sunshine. everything about him is slipping away from me, and I’m not sure I want it back.
