I am secondary students in HK. Although I didn’t participate boycotted classes,my mother againsted seriously! I think hongkong should have true democracy in universal suffrage!

Top picture: it was taken at an “election debate” in 2012; the guy on the left is Mr. Leung and the guy on the right is Mr. Tong. Both of them were the candidates selected by two groups of pro-Beijing officials. Beijing at the end wanted Mr. Leung to win the election. But they still hosted this debate before the voting,

During the debate, Mr. Tong, asked Mr. Leung: Have you ever said that one day HK will need to use tear gas and anti-riot to go against its protesters? Mr. Leung replied, I absolutely had never ever said that Mr. Tong, “You liar!”

The second picture showed the policemen had used tear gas against the protesters in the Occupy Central movement on Sept 28 evening.
