I have a character concept I’ll ramble about.
Her name’s Maria Lovelace - she’s half-Ecuadorian, half-American. She comes off as having a diva personality at first glance, i.e. she seems to like being the center of attention and lives in her own world. The reality is that she’s a superhero at a company that’s pretty much exploiting her borderline personality disorder. They use her symptoms - her reckless behavior, her extreme reactions, the like - and touch it all up to paint her as a diva archetype. I remember a friend said she was a bit like Neely O’Hara from Valley of the Dolls, but I wouldn’t say so. Maria’s mentally ill and instead of getting the treatment she needs, her job’s exploiting her for it. Neely, on the other hand, turned from this scrappy kid into a bitchy, manipulative shell of a person because of her personal experiences with Hollywood.
She’s still a very half-baked character, though. I’m saying this because I don’t want to end up misportraying or demonizing BPD, which already gets a bad enough rep in fictional media. So if anyone has suggestions or advice on how to write her, lemme know! :)
And it hurts, but you’re just a ghost.

In madder, it ends. Aah, tonight it’s all your fault My whole system is an uproar “Live with me” The voice from my memory Left the hard, stiff cover as it was, saying “Goodbye” as the morning mist concealed the two of us
I listened to Maxwell’s Silver Hammer while drawing this, time to add to my Moge-ko themed playlist.
Drew my favorite bitch-ass - Vasiliev, the grand douche-canoe himself - again.
He’s a horrible bastard with one (1) redeeming quality and that is his strong and healthy relationship with his lil’ bro who he’d die protecting from harm.

I can’t FUCKING find the “I’ll keep all my emotions here and then one day I’ll die” but if this isn’t Ben’s entire character arc in Alien Force...
Madotsuki: Hey. Look at me.

Madotsuki: bITCH.
Not to talk John Steinbeck on main, but this all was because we had to read Of Mice and Men as part of a school assignment and the ending was just an absolute kick in the balls.
Okay but holy shit, I cannot wait to finish the Grapes of Wrath. Is it a bad book by any means? Fuck no it isn’t, but it’s just so sad that I kind of want to hurry up before I cry again.
