Hartley St. James | Ravenclaw | Seventh Year
She is a girl of few words, but many ideas. On the rare occasions that Hartley does speak, she is sure to say something insightful or full of conviction. Although she may not seem like it, Hartley is extremely opinionated and passionate. If someone chooses to insult her, or her bloodline, or her talents, she is likely to let them do so and simply turn the other cheek. Those in the wizarding world may not understand her parents' importance in the muggle world, and she fully accepts this ignorance. No, she is not the pureblood daughter of a powerful elitist Death Eater. She does, however, live in a large cream coloured house with large gates and too many servants and guardians to name. Talking about her life back home never seemed like a necessity. It makes sense that someone who speaks so little possesses so many secrets.
Maura Thompson | Gryffindor | Seventh Year
She has never been one to blend into the background. Between kicking ass and singing lead vocals in her band, Maura manages decent grades, though they tend to fall to the bottom of her priorities. Maura sticks out in the crowd, but not in a bad way. On her own, Maura is a force to be reckoned with. She tends to go overboard in order to "prove" her bravery. Some people find this hunger for adventure annoying and sometimes arrogant. Very, very few people know that her brother is a werewolf, though she knows they'd all leave her alone if they did. Maura would much rather fight her own battles, as well as her best friend's, because Hartley never seems to do so herself. If you look past her courageous exterior, you may be surprised to find a kind, hopeless romantic who really just wants what's best for those she loves.
Elliot Harden | Durmstrang | Graduated
Elliot graduated from Durmstrang two years ago and, much to his parents chagrin, immediately took his inheritance and moved London. From a very well off Romanian pure-blood family, young mister Harden never shared his parents ideals when it came to blood purity. When the Dark Lord began accumulating power, Elliot’s family was one of the first to join him. His parents, originally from Wales, his parents moved to Romania at the Dark Lord’s order, just in time for Elliot to begin school at Durmstrang.
He never was particularly fond of the Dark Arts, though he had a remarkable talent for the darkest offensive magic. To be honest, Elliot was never ever particularly fond of magic at all, and since moving to London has used it minimally. He still keeps up with wearing news, and practices his magic bi-weekly for self defense, in order to keep himself informed and protected. He knew that at some point, one of the Dark Lord’s agents would come for him. If it came to that, it would be kill or be killed.Â
Juno Kobayashi | Slytherin | Seventh Year
juno kobayashi is the ice queen, and you’d better believe it. she can wrap a boy around her finger and leave them out in the cold faster than you can say “shotgun wedding.” she’s the cersei lannister of hogwarts — all the girls love to hate her, all the boys hate to love her. her sense of entitlement isn’t undeserved either — she’s granddaughter of the japanese minister of magic — and she’s known nothing but privilege her entire life. don’t mistake her silver-spoon, princess lifestyle fool you, though, as she’s as cunning, manipulative, and quick as a snake. after all, isn’t that why she got placed in the house that she did?
Jade Carmody | Gryffindor | Seventh Year
Upon first meeting Jade, one would assume that she is shy, quiet, and easy to push around -- you would be wrong on all counts. Jade may be just as nice as she appears, but she will always confront someone when she doesn't like the way they are behaving. She also has a tendency to mother people, but it's only because she has a problem with caring a little too much. Few people know that she was adopted at a young age, but she isn't exactly afraid to talk about it. She couldn't be happier with her adopted parents. Much like her partner in crime, Ava, Jade has a fondness for singing. Hopefully someday the two of them can jet off to NYC and make it big -- with Monty in tow, of course.
Kairi Evans | Ravenclaw | Sixth Year
Kairi is your typical Ravenclaw, obsessed with nothing but study. Her grades mean every thing to her. She spends most of her time either in her room, the Ravenclaw Common Room or the library. Due to her exceptional grades, she has been constantly invited to Slug Club meeting, but she refuses to go simply because she doesn’t like the idea of an elitist society. Her parents are as pure blood as you can get, and they love to share that fact. They were incredibly disappointed when their daughter wasn’t placed in Slytherin, but Ravelcaw is still better than Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. Luckily, Kai is very different from her parents. While she can be extremely sarcastic and defensive when she wants to be, she will never base her judgements on someone on anything other than who they are as a person.
Aeron Clement | Ravenclaw | Graduated
she’s named after the welsh masculine goddess of carnage and slaughter - a name like aeron was chosen by her parents who still to this day have a strange fascination with the morbid and violent. needless to say aeron, who’d much rather go by ron, had grown up in a less than normal household… but there certainly had never been more loving household. both of her parents made sure aeron was told that she was loved every morning, and every night. they had made sure that she had books, and books, and more books, about anything she’d ever wanted to learn about. and to this day, though now her father has left her and mom alone, aeron’s intelligent mind has never stopped wanted to learning. though her studious nature managed to alienate her from a rather large crowd at hogwarts, aeron had never minded it. she’s happy, and always has been. now interning at gringott’s to become a curse breaker, she’s just as naive as ever.Â
Ava Delgado | Hufflepuff | Seventh Year
When Ava was a little girl, her parents stuck her in ballet. For most, the story ends there. But unlike 85% of the class, Ava absolutely loved getting into her leotard and tutu and jumping about the room. She was, at one point, the worst dancer in the entire class. Possibly in the entire country. But now, she is proud to say, she is an impeccable dancer. Although dancing professionally used to be her career of choice, she has branched out to include singing. It may have even eclipsed her childhood dreams. Ava is certainly sure of her abilities and not afraid to show it, which may turn some people away. However, at her core, Ava is a sweet ball of energy. She'll do almost anything to bring a smile to someone's face -- but that doesn't mean she won't whip you into shape if you get on her bad side.
