“I quit for a reason, Miro,” Marce spoke with a sigh and crossed arms over her chest. “Convenient? What do you mean by that? I just want a kitten so you better do everything up there to get me that kitten, Krum,” she spoke with a chuckle.

“Aw, don’t cry babe. It’s not worth it.” He groaned when she brought up the puppy. “Yeah, yeah. I suppose you’re right. But I’m not getting one and that’s final.”
“You’re worth every single happy tear,” Marce spoke softly and pressed a small kiss to his lips. “I know, I know, you don’t want a puppy, I get it. You make it sound as if I was trying to convince you to have a baby,” she spoke, rolling her eyes.

“Because I love you and you’re my best friend.” She offered up. “Well you do have crazy friends. And Darcy’s two dads and mine are basically yours and then Albus is pretty hot so… you’re basically living the dream.”
“I loooooooove you more!” she giggled and booped Tavi’s nose before drinking yet another glass of the wine. “And your uncle was almost my dad! We were almost sisters, Taaaaavi!”

“Ooh. Cheeky.” She nudged her friend. “You know… I think I did but he is one of Dom’s best friends so that’s always been taboo.” Darcy bit her lip before shaking her head. “What?! No, we’re not facetiming him. That’s not happening.”
She grinned and poked Darcy’s side. “Oh he is going to be so mad, I’d keep my distance if I was Nate,” she rolled her eyes, sighing at Dom’s stupidity. “But Darcy! You’re not gonna stop me from facetiming my boyfriend then!” she grinned.

“Well… yeah. I never really stopped.” He replied as if it were already obvious. “Next time I will. I promise.” He held her close, running a hand through her hair. “You can take as many seconds as you like. I like standing like this.”
“Shush or you’re going to make me cry again,” she mumbled. She stood there cuddled up to Albus for a few more seconds before pulling back with a grin. “We don’t have a lot of seconds, you have to help Mercie pick up the perfect puppy, you puppy hater,” she booped his nose and moved to grab more ingredients and started mixing them together.

“I…I’ve always liked him.” He followed Marce in pouring more wine, sipping it slowly this time as he thought about a particular blond. He smiled slightly as she went on. It touched his heart to hear it all, even if his disagreement was on the tip of his tongue. Mercer tried to swallow his stubborn protest to come up with something a little more positive. “That’s kind of you to say.” His smile slipped at the thought, but he knew she was right. “I can’t lose him, Marce.” Not again. Even while apart, his thoughts would return to Mylo. What he felt had never gone away, Mercer had just doubted himself and screwed up by losing touch. “I should tell him…I’m just afraid.” Back then at Hogwarts, he hadn’t felt he could be so honest with others and with himself. But he was finally in a position in life to go after what he wanted. “Did you stop being silent about it?”
Marcelina smiled softly at Mercer’s words and she just pulled him into a tight hug – the warm and fuzzy kind of hug, a Bloem Hug™. “I’m not saying that because it’s kind but because it’s true. You’re one of the greatest guys I’ve ever et, Mercie. And if he doesn’t see it, then he’s definitely worth losing,” she spoke and pressed a small kiss to his cheek. “If you tell him, it will feel like a giant weight has been lifted from your shoulders,” she mused. At his question, she hummed a little in thought. “Well, I did and I didn’t, it’s complicated. But now I haven’t felt this happy in a good while.”

“You know, I find that really hard to believe.” He replied with a grin. “If you wanted to watch practice, you could’ve just asked. I know you won’t go off and tell everyone our plans. What’s up with you?”
“Oh, Miro,” she chirped and smacked his shoulder playfully. “Why would anything be up with me?” she asked with a small eye roll. “I have a bet with Nate. If Ravenclaw wins the next game, he’s gonna get me a kitten, so I’m here to see what are my chances.”

“As nice as that sounds… I love one Dominic Dolohov-Greengrass far too much for that.” She teased with a grin before sipping from her glass. “Ooh. That’s a very good idea. I love Mamma Mia. I wish Meryl Streep was my mother.”
“Why must you be so cruel to me, Octaviaaaaa?!” Marce whined and put the movie on. “You know, sometimes I wish I lived on a Greek island with Meryl Streek as my mum and her crazy friends and my super hot fiance and my three dads,” she chuckled.

“I’d never forgive you either.” She winked. “Albus really is. He’s a cute little awkward thing but awkward nonetheless. That makes sense. Probably like me tricking myself into “liking” Thomas even though I really only liked him as a friend since I didn’t want to be alone.”
“Well, there are things he’s definitely not awkward at,” she spoke with an innocent smile as she poured the cupcake batter into the cupcake thingies. “So, Darcy, you jumped so quickly on the Nate train after you broke up with Thomas, did you have feelings for him earlier? Should we call him? Let’s facetime him he’s right after practice, I bet he’s still half-naked waiting for your caaaaaaaall!”

“It would help if he didn’t try to eat said flower crown every time an attempt is made to give him one” she laughed and let him wander over towards Marce “Do any animals give you this much hassle when it comes to eating flowers?”
“Maybe you should make him a flower crown but made out of his favourite treats?” she chuckled and continued showing her love for the small pup, a little jealous of Aoife because she doesn’t have any pets. “I dunno, I’ve never made anything flowery for any pet. I don’t even have one, my dad’s cat passed away a few months ago.”

“Good because I’d be mad otherwise.” She replied with a grin. “Was Albus not an awkward crush? And didn’t you have a thing for Tavi?”
“I’d never forgive myself if I made you mad at me!” she gasped and placed a hand over her heart. “Well, Albus was my awkward everything so I guess that counts. And yeah, I did but now that I think about it, it was just me trying to trick myself into thinking I didn’t have any feelings for Albus and I was completely over him.”

“Rude. I was still in love with you if that counts for anything.” He said with a pout, waving her away before smoothing down his hair. “I’m an idiot. Of course I forgot.” He captured her lips once more before pulling her close. “Will you PLEASE make me some.”
“You were?” she asked and looked up at Albus with a small smile because that was definitely not what she was expecting to hear. “Oh it’s all good, Al. Next time you’ll remember and you’ll even go with me, deal?” she grinned and wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling lightly into his chest. “In a second, I’m too comfy,” she muttered.

“You wanted to be my bride? I think you’ll have to fight Lily for the honor.” She teased with a grin. “I’ll take that.” She mused, wiping at her tear stained cheeks. “What now? Besides more wine.”
“We should just ditch all of the guys and all three of us should just get married, Marce chuckled as she filled their glasses with more wine. “Since you still don’t want to watch that bitcoin documentary, I think w should watch Mamma Mia AND sing and dance along!”
“Miroooooooooooooo! My favourite Ravenclaw! I didn’t expect to see you here?” she exclaimed with a big grin, completely ignoring the fact that she was just caught spying on the Ravenclaw team again. “What’s up?”

Finishing his glass, he groaned as he was teased. He hid behind his hands because between the topic and the wine, Mercer could feel his face growing incredibly warm. “I don’t think I can, we only just started hanging out again.” Smiling fondly, his thoughts became words that felt so good to say aloud. “He’s truly gorgeous and I don’t just mean on the outside…but I just got him back as a friend. I don’t want to lose him by saying something stupid.”
“Oh, Mercie! You really like him!” Marce beamed brightly and drank the rest of the wine in her glass and poured herself more. “Mercie, Mercie, Mercie! You need to stop, okay?” she rolled her eyes at how he rambled and did not believe that someone might want to be with him and it infuriated her a little. “Look at yourself!” she mused and cupped both of his cheeks in her hands. “You look like an angel, sound like an angel, bake like an angel! Every guy would be more than happy to be with you! And half of the girls had a crush on you before you came out, you know how many hearts you’ve broken? Mine included!” She added with a chuckle and ruffled Mercer’s hair. “You know, if you don’t talk to him, you might lose him forever and that’s something you’ll regret forever, Mercie. Trust me, I know a lot about keeping silent about my feelings for someone.”
