Hello there, My name is Daniel Despres and I am on my way to becoming a professional artist. I mostly do sketches and concept art for now but I have completed a few coloured drawings. I also like to sculpt and paint miniatures. One of my favourite forms of production is game-settings, I adore creating concepts on how fantasy worlds develop or how a character will evolve through the story.

My journey into the world of Arts all started when I was a kid with some art homework. I asked my mother to do the drawing for me and she replied “no you have to do it yourself”. This is how it was discovered that I, little Danny had the gift of vision.

I have had a lot of great inspiration for my art. All video games and animated films have artists and concept art. The two major stories that inspired my drawings were Dragonball and Megaman, besides these major settings there are too many to count. But aside from that, I have also mingled in the art of gothic literature at my teenage years. This has led me to learning of Roman Durge and Jhonen Vasquez. Lately, the major sources of my aspirations have been the wonderful art of Games-Workshop’s Warhammer 40K.

Music is a great inspiration for anything I do, because Music invokes feelings and emotions. Feeling alive and emotional always helps me get through difficult or repetitive tasks, not to mention that songs help me loosen up the cogs and ideas swirling inside my dense cranium.

My favourite genre to cover is science fiction because the resources and subject are so abstract and versatile. In Sci-fi stories, there is magic, science, technology and biological creatures. Also, your futuristic protagonists could even stubble upon a medieval planet. The genre is so wide-spread that it covers almost all interests. Not to mention that it also inspires us to strive towards a wonderfully deep universe.

I am working towards understanding the industry so I can help my fellow employees and employers develop their ideas to fruition. I will strive to provide new ideas and simple solutions to game developers I work with.

I am training my mind to be a Game Master for role playing games. This should help me develop interesting stories to inspire the populace.

So far, I have passed several art courses, I do hope that my future is as promising as my critics seem to convey. Only time will tell...

Daniel Christopher Despres's Biographie

Daniel was born on march 29 1990, in Chatham, New Brunswick. He bares gasoline coloured hair, Caucasian skin and hazel eyes. He has suffered to much ocular stress that he sometimes embellishes himself with glasses He tends to like the colours purple and turquoise. 

Morally Daniel has found sanctuary personal rectification. As such he has develop these mental qualities: persistent, calm, collective, constructive, progressive, humorous, pleasant, polite, patient, .

He started the artistic route by drawing Dinosaurs obsessively. It then went on to allow him to express and explore creativity, despite civilizations moral boundaries. This allowed him to explore different art styles. Such as; Painting, sculpting, music production. Out of all the mediums the world had to offer Concept Design was by far, his preferred production.

Daniel has a long history of Art studies. When he was young he would always take art class as one of his optional courses. When summer came and school was over Daniel would sometimes attend art clubs during the summer. As a adult He has been practicing in his free time and he has started to attend NBCCD for a certificate to prove to the world that he certifies as a concept creator for the future and all its inhabitants.
