“Please do elaborate on this.” Cat asks.

Pigtails elaborates. "It seems this one came from a similar timeline as Eyepatch, but the warden woke up early and interrupted Yuzuriha Kotoko's attack. Thus the injuries are relatively minor."

Eyepatch turns away from all of them, refusing to provide input.

Pigtails continues, "From what I gather, the restraints were not engaged in this timeline as well."

Eyepatch's body language makes it clear that she is seething at the unfairness of everything.

“Ah…” Cat eyes the seething Eyepatch. “Well you should take her to March…are you okay?” She asks the Amane.

Cat drops the poor fish, who has now been placed into a bucket, in the shower. Turning it on before stepping away from the water. "It was surprisingly hard to find a big enough bucket...or a bucket in general..." Cat says. These people don't have enough buckets...

Though, it did mean she had a lot of time to watch the fish panic in her mouth. Which she was very happy about! @marchleader

"Cat-san, what is happening?" Eyepatch calls out as she roams the transit. The other Amanes follow suit.

Pigtails (?) adds, "Is it as dire as we fear? We shouldn't worry about the Shidous, but if we're this afraid, then something must be wrong...."

Tiger Lily seems strangely indifferent. Rainbow rolls her eyes.

".....was all this really necessary..." The brown gloved one mutters, moving his head away from the water. "I mean... I do appreciate the effort to ensure I don't dry out, really. It's nice of you."

He shifts. It was hard to find a comfortable position when he was in a bucket. He did hope this all wore off soon, he'd begin to develop back issues if this kept going...

"[ Well, I wouldn't call it a dire situation... ]" The Flower says. "[ But even if you shouldn't care about us, it'd be good to know if this is reversible. For your own sakes, as well. ]"

"...Besides, you should always care for others" the plush adds on.

"...I'd call taking away someone's legs quite dire." The white gloved one mutters.

Cat smiles. “You don’t have enough self preservation. For all you know I’m doing this to keep you fresh to eat.” She licks her paws. “I am a Cat after all. I’ve only eaten humans and fish seperately, maybe the two together would taste better.”

Cat’s ears twitch. “He’s fine!” She yelled out. “Just soaked, which is ideal. What isn’t is that this bucket is much too small for him…”

Pigtails (?) doesn't seem quite convinced. "Maybe we should find something... more spacious?"

All of a sudden, her dress changes again. This one seems to be all white, with a gold sash. Her hair has gotten out of her face.

"Well... that is true, but you also said the only 'correct fate' for me would be to live, didn't you? I still don't agree, but you did say that..." The brown gloved one points out, though he seems slightly unnerved. "...And the bucket is...fine... Though I will agree it's much too small..."

"Surely there's a larger... container of sorts around. I could always help search while I'm here" The plush offers.

The Flower looks over at the Amane in the white dress.

...That is a concerning thing to put her in. She's still alive, at least.

"[ ...Hm. It's a nice dress. ]" He says simply, looking away as he does.

[ "...It looks like-" ]

"[ They can hear you. ]"

[ "ah. Ignore that." ]

"I could very have easily lied then, maybe I was just waiting until I could get you alone. Though we're not very alone right now..." She says. Looking at everyone else. "You can just say tank. You do need a tank. Or a pool." ...? "Looks like what?" Inno asks.

"Should we still call her Pigtails?" Eyepatch whispers. "She isn't wearing pigtails anymore."

"I still think we should find a pool for that poor fish," Tiger Lily says. "Just keep us far away from it."

"[ ...It really is nothing. Just the voices playing tricks again, probably.]" The Flower reasons. Probably just to get a reaction out of him, too...

The white gloved one hums. "Though, where would we find a pool...."

“You don’t need to be a fish to be edible, your too trusting…” Cat says. “That’s going to cost you one day.”

She hums. “I wonder why a dress like that would be important to a dead man. Aren’t you just…well, were, the silence?”

Inno hums. “Well, there’s a possible way of getting a pool but I’d rather none of us do that. Especially for Kirisaki Shidou. He doesn’t deserve it at all.”

"Just a hunch, but there might be a lake around the exit with the cats," Eyepatch says.

"The cats? Not Cat?" Tiger Lily asks.

"Don't ask."

Pigtails (?) hums. "Perhaps it is because white means death? I have the misfortune of remembering a number of deaths..."

The brown gloved one shrugs. "I aim to be dead before then..." He mutters under his breath. "...regardless. The dress seems no different from ours... Likely it is just the voices."

"[ Exactly. ]" The Flower says.

The white gloved one hums in thought. "That doesn't explain why the dead one of us seemed familiar with it... I've never seen any outfit of the sort that would cause me to react that way, at least."

Right as he says that, he is magicked into a pure white coat with a gold sash, not unlike one of the Amanes' outfit.

"...Hm. Right as I said that..."

[ "...How ironic" ]

"How so?"

[ "It's nothing" ]

"...Well it'd be nice if you were able to lead us to the lake. I'm sure it'll be spacious enough for him. It would be temporary, just until we find a big enough pool or something for him, too." The plush says after a short pause.

"Can we even bring him to that lake...?" Inno says. "Not without him turning into a full fish, or a cat-fish?" It's a reasonable question to ask considering what happened when they fell in there.

Cat smiles, oh? So that's what it is. None of them are good at hiding things. Honestly they should stop doing it all together.

"...Admittedly, being a dead man really suits you." She tells the Shidou dressed in white. "Though I'd prefer it if Pigtails wasn't lumped in the same group..." "Dead man?" Inno repeats.

"Tell me, did you die looking like that or is that what you were buried in? Or did you just 'wake up' looking like that?"

"A cat-fish... That is a funny thought," Eyepatch muses.

"Dead..." Pigtails mutters. "Is that what we all are... Though I am certain everyone was still in uniform when- hm?"

"a cat-fish? Like the species of fish or a hybrid of sorts?" The plush mutters to himself. "How would a lake even cause such a thing?"

"I'd not like to find out" the brown gloved one says. "I think having a fish tail is bad enough."

"... While I'd agree with you I unfortunately cannot be a dead man right now." The white gloved one says plainly. "And while we could be dead there is nothing to truly prove it. Though, the presence of a "dead" me would imply we're still living as it is."

"[ ...well for one I don't think I was buried ]" the Flower mutters under his breath.

[ "I wasn't, that much I know. But I'm dead, so I suppose I didn't exactly wake up looking like anything." ]

“He could get eaten.” Inno says. Once again ignoring the Shidous. “If he’s turned into a regular fish. Or a cat-fish….fish-cat?”

“I mean, you technically were buried.” Cat says. “Also technically because you were dead.” Though it was only half into the ground and he was supposed to be pulled out of it.

“But, you, er, the dead one, recognize it, don’t you? Your not subtle about it at all.” Cat says. “I can’t believe your still so evasive even though I and everyone else can actually hear you now.”

Rainbow snickers at the idea of the doctor turning into a cat or a fish. Or both. "I wonder if that would make my mission easier than if he were a flower."

Pigtails (?) remarks about the Silence, "It is probably because we can hear him that he is being more cautious."

"Do you think we could be in some sort of purgatory?" Eyepatch asks. "One in which you are confined to the afterlife if you die before the final judgment?"

Tiger Lily notices a necklace with a teal gem on the floor. Eyepatch does not, and she doesn't notice other-her kneeling down to pick it up.

"I could try to find a... Bigger bucket..?" The plush offers.

"[ I meant before all that. ]" The Flower clarifies. "[ Besides if we're counting that then you know what I was 'buried' in ]"

The white gloved one hums. "That is possible. But there's nothing to prove such, so without any more evidence I'd have to continue working on the assumption that this is our mortal reality."

[ "Oh, I'm sure you'd be capable of it either way," the silence says at the rainbow hat wearing ones remark. ]

[ "And I'm not exactly being evasive" ]

[ "I've already said what I can. The dress looks similar to something." ]

[ "I feel it's unimportant, though." ]

"Where would you find a bigger bucket though? I'm surprised Cat was even able to find this." Inno says. "Maybe we should just let you sit on wet floor if the problem is only you drying out?" "I was joking." She says. "And I don't think it's really unimportant if it's something a dead man recognizes..." @amane-order-of-attack

While everyone is busy conversing, Tiger Lily looks at the necklace. It has a gentle shine, so she lifts it up to her eye and-

Eyepatch notices too late. She screams, "Stop!" But it is in vain.

Tiger Lily freezes up, staring at the two dressed in white and gold.

"I don't think... that would really be a better option..." The brown gloved one says.

"[ Still, though. I don't think I was buried. All that not inclusive. ]" The Flower clarifies.

[ "Really, there's nothing to worry about. It'd only really be concerning if she- you? Were dead." The silence reasons. "Otherwise it's just a dress." ]

The plush looks over at the commotion. "Is everything alright..?" It seems they've changed clothes again, but he assumes it's like the other times

"That's exactly why I'm concerned. It's ominous that she has a dress that would be concerning if she were Dead in the first place." Cat says, her ears then go up as she ears Eyepatch yell. Noticing the necklace. She goes to grab it out of Tiger Lily's hand. "Not again....!"

After a moment, Tiger Lily turns to the Shidou with the gold sash.

"You! How dare you kill-"

But as she dashes over to bite him, Eyepatch and Pigtails hold her back.

"No, don't! What you saw isn't real! Don't act on it!"

They spare a glance at Rainbow to see if she's about to capitalize on the situation, but she's too busy trying to clean a stain from her uniform.

The white gloved one, the one wearing the white outfit and gold sash, takes a step back. "What are you-?"

She... Can't be referring to his murder, could she? What was she talking about...

She wrestles the necklace out and bites it. Ow! Ow! That really hurts! But it breaks apart. She swallows the remnants. It’ll be fine…she thinks.

She coughs. “Well, it seems like I got caught in their crossfire when it comes to jokes.”

Inno helps to hold her back. Though she has no idea what is happening!

"Cat-san, you should stop eating things that were not made to be consumed," Eyepatch chides. A pair of cat ears pop out of her head.

She turns to the white-gloved Shidou and points at Pigtails. "Have we already mentioned the timelines that lead to Kajiyama Fuuta's death? It is natural that we blame you for that."

"You really shouldn't eat things that aren't meant to be," The plush echoes, concerned. "Are you alright? It'd be best to get you to a doctor, swallowing something like that is dangerous..."

"[ Well it seems like you've gotten it under control. ]" The Flower says, cutting the plush off. "[ Though... is there something about the necklace..? ]"

The white gloved one hums. "...Well, I suppose it is natural." He's been blamed more times than he can count. And, well, he doesn't exactly disagree. "But, if it means anything, I, myself, haven't done anything harmful to Kajiyama-kun. I wouldn't consider this 'other me's' actions as my own."

She coughs again. “Yep. Lets someone see into alternate realities, it’s painful so I wanted to break it so no one else could be affected.”

Inno sighs. “When it’s coming from someone like you it just feels like an attempt to avoid responsibility….”

"That necklace represents so much of what I stand against," Eyepatch says. "Spoiling oneself may have grave consequences."

"Which is why I refuse your pancakes," Other March pipes up. The others only realize now that she is still there.

Eyepatch continues, "Even if you are not the one who did it, can you blame us for being wary of you? You would not let your guard down just because we were not the ones to kill you. ...Right?"

"I am being quite genuine." The white gloved one states. "I am not trying to 'avoid responsibility' as you put it. Just saying that I've not done anything of the sort. I won't stop you from judging me for it."

"...What does a magic necklace have to do with pancakes..." The brown gloved one mutters.

[ "Well, none of their guards are up right now, really. And I'm not a good point of measurement, being incorporeal and all" ]

The Flower looks off to the side. He's not really a good gauge either, he thinks. Myriad issues and all being contributing factors.

"...the ones to what?" The plushie asks, now looking considerably concerned.

“Your incorporeal because your dead. Which I believe is a great measure for how up your guard was.” Cat says.

“Ah,” Inno says. “Does anyone want to tell him? Knowing him he’d just throw a tantrum…”

The other Amanes turn to Eyepatch when she's asked about the necklace. She looks around nervously.

"I thought... just for one day, I could spoil myself and dress up nice. The necklace... cursed me with visions of timelines."

Noting the plushie's question, she points at Rainbow. "You see Weapons Freak over there with the garden shears? She wants to kill you. Just a little farther into her timeline, she does."

[ "I suppose it does. For how it was and still is, considering there's nothing of me to kill now" ]

"Ah...Well I am sorry that happened." The brown gloved one says. "It's an unfortunate thing to happen, really."

"Ah, uh... I see..." The plushie seems a bit shaken by the remark about her killing him. "Well there's... Really no reason to be doing that."

The white gloved one sighs. "Not to worry. You won't be dying for some time." He says to the plush.

“Do you really not have a better insult than calling someone a freak…?” Inno says. Leaning into Eyepatch.

“I’m amused that you say that instead of telling him how to avoid getting murdered.” Cat says. “Or better yet, prevent him from becoming a murderer.”

Eyepatch holds out her hand to stop Inno from getting closer.

"Becoming a- what?" The plush says with a nervous laugh. "Forbidden..? My apologies but I'm not... Quite sure what you're referring to."

"Nor am I, if I am to be honest." The white gloved one says. "But clearly, my fate has yet to reach me."

“It’s not particularly nice though…if she tries to kill you then the blame is on you I think.” Inno says.

Cat sighs. “Defeatists all of you…so you won’t even try to prevent your past self from commiting murder?”

Rainbow ignores the little gossips and glares at the Shidous. But this time, there isn't murder in her eyes, just a hollow, shell-shocked stare.

The white gloved one, the one still wearing the gold sash and white coat, seems to notice the one with the Rainbow hat's expression.

"...Are you alright, there? Is something wrong?"

Inno takes a deep, deep breath. "Maybe she should get away from all of this, for now."

"Good idea," Pigtails (?) responds. "I imagine we are all experiencing phantom pains of timelines that should not exist. Perhaps it is best to avoid time anomalies as much as we can."

Rainbow nods. Then she steals another glance at the Shidou with the sash.

The Shidou with the sash seems to notice the one in the Rainbow hat looking at him, but he keeps his eyes to the conversation being had.

She immediately throws the blankets into his face. Trying to get him away from her as fast as she can.

"Not Fine. Bye!" Cat bolts again. She doesn't want to see any rabbits! Stop showing her rabbits!!!

Elsewhere, Eyepatch and Pigtails are sitting around, studying. There is a cardboard cutout of Jackalope nearby. They pay it no mind.

There is a notable lack of Wishgranters in the area.

Cat immediately runs almost head first into the Jackalope cutout. Tries not to scream, and runs Out of the transit because she Doesn't want to be there if there's Rabbits everywhere!

Lily and Tiger happen to be standing around where Cat is.

"Cat-san, is something wrong?" they ask in perfect unison, as if they are one being instead of two.

Cat doesn’t really care about whatever mind sharing is going on there. Just collasping in relief now that she’s away from any rabbits.

“Rabbits. That’s what wrong.”

The two of them shudder. "Rabbits..."

An Amane who greatly resembles March approaches. "Did you say rabbits? I think rabbits are really cute! Do you think Jackalope will let me play with him?"

She becomes an even small cat. Running off to where she can hide in Peace.

Other March inexplicably shows up in the path again.

Meanwhile, in the cat-verse...

Inno, Eyepatch, and Coat travel once the ground feels dry enough. At least one of them is concerned where Wishbow wandered off to and decided they should go look.

As they roam around, they come across a very, very familiar cat. One that brings back bittersweet memories.

It isn't an Amane, they think. But when all the cat Amanes look different, it's hard to tell.

Inno stops when she sees it. Looking away from it. "Let's...go another way."

Eyepatch looks at the cat longingly but turns back to Inno after a moment. "You're right... We should-"

But Coat approaches the cat instead. "It's Neko-san... It really is... I would do anything for another day with Neko-san..."

It dawns on Eyepatch how weird it is for the cat and Cat to have the same nickname.

While everyone is busy conversing, Tiger Lily looks at the necklace. It has a gentle shine, so she lifts it up to her eye and-

[ "Really, there's nothing to worry about. It'd only really be concerning if she- you? Were dead." The silence reasons. "Otherwise it's just a dress." ]

The plush looks over at the commotion. "Is everything alright..?" It seems they've changed clothes again, but he assumes it's like the other times

After a moment, Tiger Lily turns to the Shidou with the gold sash.

"You! How dare you kill-"

But as she dashes over to bite him, Eyepatch and Pigtails hold her back.

"No, don't! What you saw isn't real! Don't act on it!"

They spare a glance at Rainbow to see if she's about to capitalize on the situation, but she's too busy trying to clean a stain from her uniform.

She wrestles the necklace out and bites it. Ow! Ow! That really hurts! But it breaks apart. She swallows the remnants. It’ll be fine…she thinks.

She coughs. “Well, it seems like I got caught in their crossfire when it comes to jokes.”

Inno helps to hold her back. Though she has no idea what is happening!

"Cat-san, you should stop eating things that were not made to be consumed," Eyepatch chides. A pair of cat ears pop out of her head.

She turns to the white-gloved Shidou and points at Pigtails. "Have we already mentioned the timelines that lead to Kajiyama Fuuta's death? It is natural that we blame you for that."
