Day 28: "Angry Boys" character with the best ending.

Originally I was gonna say Nathan. But I just feel like his ending is too bittersweet. Yeah, he meets all the legends, but he is leaving the next morning to go to deaf school for 2 years. : /

So I'm going to say S.mouse.

He really gets his redemption at the end. Finally figures out who he is and accepts that. His character transformation is awesome. He's a great example of how amazing Chris Lilley is at creating very human characters. There's a lot of people who wanna write S.mouse off as being a racist parody of rappers. I feel like his ending really solidifies that his isn't a one note character.

Day 27: The "Angry Boys" character that is most like you

I had a really hard time trying to decide who I am most like. So I asked my fiance who has known me for 8 years. He said Daniel.

His reasoning, which I don't totally disagree with is that I can sometimes be kind of mean and harsh to the people I care about. Sometimes I bury my feelings in sarcastic insults. A lot like Daniel does with Nathan. I'm not sure what that says about me. lol.

Day 26: Favorite "Angry Boys" Minor Character

It's a tie. First, Danthony.

He is s.mouse's life long friend and sticks with him through thick and thin. He doesn't sugar coat anything and is always there. Plus, does Clyde not have the greatest smile?

Second, S.mouse's dad Shwayne Sr.

He is always so blunt, straight forward and honest. The scene's between him and S.mouse are great. I would love to know how much of that was improved. Richard Lawson has great comedic timing.

It kills me everytime. Daniel's reaction, the look on Nath's face. Everything about it cracks me up.

Day 24: Saddest "Angry Boys" Scene

The scene where Gran gets let got from the detention center.

You can't help but feel so bad for her. The center, the boys, and penny are her life. The fact that she has alzheimers as well makes it a double blow. She is just so sweet and good. It's hard to see things fall down around her.

The scene where Shwayne jr. formally know as s.mouse records "Squashed Nigga"

It's so gratifying and good to see him legitimately proud of something he has done. It's the first really turning point for his character and where he really starts coming into his own and accepting who he is. And Shwayne sr. being proud as well makes it so much better.

Day 21: Favorite "Angry Boys" Character

It's tough, but Gran.

She seems like a crazy old bat, but she's so sweet and caring on the inside. It annoys me that people who have only seen snippets of the show love to say scathing things about her character and the things she says. Perhaps if they bothered to watch more than 20 mins they would understand why her dialogue is written the way it is. She's such a well developed character. It makes me kinda sad that Chris didn't like playing her. : /

Day 20: Anything related to "Summer Heights High"

This show may be my favorite of all Chris's shows. Just barley because everything he does is so damn good. But still. It's a bit lighter than "We Can Be Heroes" and "Angry Boys" and the high school setting makes it a bit more approachable. I think I've watched it more times than I can count and I've got my fiance addicted to it now as well. We probably quote it way more than we should. Also, got funny looks at the grocery store yesterday when I was shopping for produce and mindless singing "The Smell of Life" lol.

On a side note: Chris should totally take "Mr. G The Musical" on tour. That would be mind blowingly wonderful.

ugh, Mr. G is so fucking fierce. 

also, if you live in the us HBO is gonna air "Summer Heights High" again starting saturday (Dec. 3) it's 11pm eastern time.
