I headcanon Nathan Sims from the tv shows We Can Be Heroes and Angry Boys as Autistic. His family (mostly his twin brother Daniel, and their Mum) mention a few times that they think there’s always been something else going on in addition to his deafness. He loves skateboarding (especially Tim Okazaki), which could be a special interest. There’s an episode of Angry Boys where Nathan does a couple of sensory seeking things, like sitting inside an open beanbag, and sticking his arm up a drainpipe. He has meltdowns in both shows, such as running off after Daniel bugs him too much after their ear operation in We Can Be Heroes, and writing a note about running away then hiding in a cupboard in Angry Boys. He’s mostly nonverbal, which could be to do with either being canonically deaf, or possibly Autistic.
