I’m sort of always thinking about the way Georgie loves his kids and the way he has hated himself and that one time Finn was like “Tessa’s so much like you” and Georgie was glad he couldn’t see it. And “Your kids deserve a father that doesn’t hate himself more than he loves them.”

And now the way that so much of Robbie’s love for Georgie here is in relation to Tessa.

The idea that Georgie’s punishment for cheating on Robbie would come 14 years after the fact so that Georgie can briefly see into the life he could have had with Robbie if he hadn’t cheated.
